What a soupful experience
Nice game overall, i like the graphics and the feeling of the game !
the idea of the fur ball so good ;)
Very nice, I like the clean minimal graphics. The setting made me think of Alley Kat. Love the main character and great dialogue. Ever onwards to the eternal soup... Well done!
I love this! The dialog is sharp and charming, the art is adorable, and the platforming is pretty tight. It is remarkably difficult to get the platforms in a platformer to feel grounded like this, rather than arbitrarily placed- so kudos to you for doing that.
My only real gripe here was with the camera - sometimes it made it difficult to see where I was going because it would move up as i jumped. Platformer cameras sometimes have a buffer zone for their y axis movement so that jumping doesn't bring the camera far up and then far down again. (This is, of course, an incredibly minor nitpick.)
On the whole, this game was charming, funny, fun, and sweet. Great work!
Cute, full of character, and fun to play - a full hand.
Camera occassionaly popped up to high to see the platform I was jumping to, which made it quite difficult, but no complaints apart from that.
The game is interesting and easy to understand. The graphics are very beautiful and pleasant. I really liked it
Fun and funny! The dialog works really well. The art is perfect for this! The animation is slick and the player controller feels great. I wish the volume was a bit louder though, and more effort put to the sound! Nice one.
This was heavenly! I love the little lint ball it's so cute! Really nice designed levels and a pleasant colour pallette
Very cute and cool game, relaxes) the gameplay is simple, that's what I liked) And the idea is funny
Nice! I like the simple but effective graphics, and the funny dialogs. Maybe have a way to move the camera, or zoom it out a little? It felt kinda frustrating feeling lost and not knowing where to go, or jumping off of a platform without knowing if it was the right spot.
My first time playing a platformer as a lint though, thanks!
I liked the design of the game. It was interesting to play and the gameplay itself makes you relax)
very fun little game ! Didnt think I would, one day, enjoy so much being 'this kind' of small creatures
An atmospheric game about ruining someone's soup
Well done! I found the story interesting and funny. The platforming sections are quite simple but satisfying if you manage to get to another bowl of soup.
Sometimes it wasn't obvious if your character can stand on the platform. I think that's because background is as bright as foreground.
Simple but very cute!
all hail the soup no but fr it was simple yet effective- objective was clear xD, controls and mechanics were easy to get and get the handle of, dialogue was funny and keeps me intrigued on how the lints (?) reached this culture of ruining peoples soup- and art was cute :] pretty good game
What a lovely little game, I love the character and how he rolls. Controls could be a bit more responsive but as a game jam entry it was one of the cutest games I played so far :D
Pretty simple but effective. Very cute aesthetic. I would recommend adding any noises though, it's very impactful without much effort. I did hear the one plop noise, though. The musings from the elder lint were enough to encourage me to finish the game. Overall I like this.
Thank you all for the feedback! I'm taking notes, and maybe after the jam I will polish it a bit. About the audio: there are some sfx (jump, roll, talking, soup splash), but I've made them a bit too quiet.
Well done! I like it! Adding some wind or something to get back to a point where you can climb up after falling would be useful, because it was quite painful to travel back to a point where I could climb up after falling.
EDIT: There are way too few sound effects and they are to quiet. Making them louder and adding one for e.g. the fan would improve it a lot.
I made it to the "maybe forever warm soap", huzzah!
The controls were tight and responsive and it felt great to move and jump: 80% of the battle of a good platformer! The camera was mostly good, but there were too many cases where you had to do a "leap of faith" - which are frustrating... though not as frustrating as doing the long walk back from the fan for the 4th time while you haven't figured out how to stay in the air yet!
Those two nitpicks aside, very solid work - great job!
Wow what a little gem :) Glad I got to play and rate this one before the jam ended, great job dev, feels like a very singular vision come to life!

I really dig the crayon style for the black lines in the art! Gameplay wise, the controls feel pretty smooth and intuitive. Pretty good entry overall!
Also is lint getting in bowl of soups a common problem? What was the inspiration?
@shared I never got any lint in a soup, but the inspiration was hair getting into all kinds of meals.
