It would be nice if the buffs were expanded, as I could just choose the same buff and debuff to cancel each other out.
Generally visually pretty game, the spritework is great! The floor pattern is a little harsh on the eyes though. I like that you're offered a downside with your upsides, although the upsides are a bit on the simple side.

Graphics are great. Enemies have several pattern to learn. Managing the bonus/malus balance is a great idea.

Wow, the attention to detail is amazing! i love how the avatar portrait blinks and the health bar is two hands that get closer together! i think that is really cool! the art is amazing and the gameplay was really fun! really well done!!!
Love the artwork, and the opening cutscene really adds a ton of personality. I also enjoyed the way you're forced to take a debuff for every buff. I kept reducing my health and fearing I was about to be one-shot at any moment. It ends kind of suddenly, and I honestly would have kept going for a while more if it let me, which is probably a good sign. With some more buff, debuff and enemy variety you could easily make a sort of endless/survival variant of this. Great job!

It wasn't terribly challenging, though, and the buffs/debuffs didn't seem like they affected the gameplay in a terribly useful way. I wish I'd had an easy way to tell how many shots were left before a reload, though the game wasn't ever really hard enough that that became critical.
The gameplay itself was super smooth and it all fit together nicely.
