Nice game, but it can be better if u zoom out the cameral
can u make a webGL version?
@alxje Thanks for the advice!
I've made a WebGL version in https://rorschach-z.itch.io/heavendivers and zoomed out the camera a little bit.
Amazing spellcasting system. It took me a while to figure out how to play the game, but that doesn't stop it from being a fun game.
Great game, this reminds me the time I am playing HellDivers2, nice job hahaha!!!!!
@patrick-pang Thanks for playing! It's always nice to receive comments like this. Thank u!
@tomas0725 Thank for playing! I enjoy playing HellDivers2 too!
It's put together very nicely. Unfortunately, I'm terrible at these kinds of games, but great job :)
Heaven diver report to democracy !
Nice game! I got the combos down quite well. Sweet juicy animations of the arrows. Fun with the multitasking, quite difficult to keep the pace up as you look at the heaven diver. In my opinion it kind of has the same issue as my game in that you want to focus on clicking the buttons in the correct order that you miss what is happening in the background most of the time :)
There is no audio right? I didn't hear any unfortunately.
@rasblo Thanks for playing and your advice! Yeah you're right,there's no audio right now. But I am thinking about adding some sound effects in the future version.
Great game!🥳
Got so focused on the arrows and the order they were in that I couldn't really keep track of what was going on or why it was happening, but it's an interesting idea to have to balance so many different tasks.
disclaimer: not familiar with the hell diver game(s)
It took a while before I grasped what I was doing and who I was controlling (not the middle guy, and so the HP going down was GOOD!) But once I got that it was a nice game, biggest feedback would be that for people not familiar with the genre it needs more explanation/visual cues. Great fit with the theme as well!
At first I thought the HP was my own. I think it would help the UI if the you replaced the existing arrows with WSAD key icons with transparent arrow overlays. Pausing the timer while viewing the tutorial could help, as I was reading it and seeing the timer go up thinking I was going to start losing. Cool concept.
I never figured out what was going on, but I think I got some of the arrow key combinations right at some point which made some more cubes appear. Clicking didn't seem to do much and if I am the cube character in the center of the screen I was never able to direct its movement in any meaningful way that I could determine. The animation and "throbbing" of the onscreen arrows was pretty cool.
This is a nice slow-paced game with minimalistic graphics. Pushing keys in the right order is an interesting way to summon creatures. The difficulty lies in concentrating on what is happening and inputting the right sequence at the same time.
There are some minor issues. If you place the summoning area at the bottom of the screen, you can't see it because the panel is in the way. Using ESC to got to the tutorial in web version throws you out of fullscreen mode too so you have to press the fullscreen button again.
@jerrre Thanks for the feedback!
@trevor-lentz Thanks for the advice!
@cheesepencil Thanks for the comment! Maybe my tutorial isn't clear enough. The goal of the game is to summon allies to kill the big green cube(HELLDIVER) in the middle. You'll have to use LMB to confirm a area to summon(RMB to move the area). After confirm a area, you can press WASD as spells to summon the current allies you select(use 1,2,3 on your keyboard to select).
@flying-dog-fish Thanks for your feedback!
interesting little game! i found that the zombies were never able to catch up, and i was barely able to use the duplication spell because they would move away from my area (or the target would collide into my area). but i like the fighting-game style inputs and the juice of the UI
@dishwand Thanks for playing!
I was kinda confused at the beginning that I somehow missed that you're supposed to destroy the the green cube. Once I figured that out, then everything suddenly started making sense, haha! I need to get better at reading. Besides, I liked the animations and not sure if I have anything else to add that hasn't been said before. Nice entry!

@dzejpi Thanks for playing! Maybe its because my tutorial isn't clear enough haha.
This was very confusing and I think the tutorial made it worse. What is a CD time? What are the green and red boxes under the arrows? It took me like 3 replays to make sense of everything. I think putting the unlabeled cooldown boxes under the arrows is very misleading as it seems like you have to wait until the boxes fill up to complete the combo or something. It took way too long to realize that they were just the cool downs for the individual spells.
Overall this is an interesting game with unique concepts, but its uniqueness makes it really confusing without a clear tutorial.
