The timing seems pretty hard to hit but a nice idea!

lyamgtt 2024-04-16 10:09

I'm so bad at rhythm but I had fun! The art is really cute as well!

mealky 2024-04-16 13:59

Thanks a lot ! :)

padlynn 2024-04-16 14:54

Thanks!😃

Heya! Looks good. Plays good. Sounds good. The intro was a little tough to understand but once I got through it and it started doing strokes on all 4 beats I got the hang of it. Great job.

Very fun and cool looking game ^^ For some reason I only hear the drums in my left ear while everything else is alright, other than that, it feels nice Also thanks for good tutorial on how to summon free italian demon who would cook pizza hah.

Awesome! Love the concept and the Cultist quartet is amazing.

owlycode 2024-04-16 15:15

I love the fact that the UI and scene reacts to the beat, it makes it fun to play. The fact to have to look at the fingers and at the arrows at the same time is a bit hard, because the arrow blinks real fast. Also it might be me being bad at rhythm games. Overall the game feels consistent: everything has a purpose and is well integrated.

two1san 2024-04-16 15:27

timings could be more forgiving, but overall nice concept

Had a bit of trouble undestanding how to play at the beginning, but in the end I gave the demon lots of pizzas and had fun, nice funny rhythm game!

(I think I got a few bugs though, voices sometimes not triggering on the 4th beat, and the beat only coming out of my left speaker / headphone)

zklau 2024-04-16 15:40

I killed them all  sadly i am bad at this but the game itself is really good. Nice

kamizenki 2024-04-16 15:40

Hard to remember the rhythm but nice work.

p3ngui 2024-04-16 16:26

Love the idea and implementation! I struggled a bit remembering the directions and rythm as well as performing them perfectly in time. I think a bigger range of tolerance could have useful for casual players who aren't that skilled at either multitasking, rythm or memerizing.

nabil-shelim 2024-04-16 17:53

A bit difficult to get started but once you are there, really fun to play. The timing window could be a bit less punishing but other than that, a solid concept.

naomiajacobs 2024-04-16 19:47

Had too much trouble getting started, I couldn't hit the rhythm correctly. I'd love wider tolerances; this looked really fun! Love the concept.

plintusb 2024-04-16 21:21

a nightmare for those who are bad with rhythm ahaha But! Very juicy art and animations, as if you were watching a cartoon. I would love to see how people play it))

dywanix 2024-04-16 21:59

Such a nice game. I really like the music!

enreh 2024-04-16 23:09

Well polished and fun to play, the art, animations and sound effects all make the game really juicy. I do agree with the others that the timing might be a bit punishing (especially the first beat felt difficult, the others were usually fine), maybe it's something with the transition between the "observe" and "go" stages, or maybe I just suck at rhythm games. I do think some more visual feedback (on the hand maybe?) to indicate it's going to raise the finger would be nice (gives it more anticipation, like how you can see the notes moving toward you in many rhythm games). Other than that, I think the sound effect from the arrows lighting up could use some fade-out, it feels like it ends quite suddenly, even if it's short. Still, great entry!

Nice art. I personally appreciate the animation style since I use stretches a lot myself in my projects (not this LD tho. I used almost nothing in this LD's project lol)

phobos001 2024-04-17 01:31

Nice work! I love the cute character design. Game is simple but it doesn't seem to get much harder. If you expand on this idea, maybe you can use harder time signatures as they get further in the game? 4/4 would be in the beginning, but then later on you have to start memorizing crazy rhythms like 23/8 (That might be a bit extreme but just an idea). Thank you for the game padlynn :D

mealky 2024-04-17 01:43

Thanks all for your feedback really really important for us, I tried the left ear sound bug and yeah with headset the bit only pop from left earphone dunno why , but playing on desk speaker all is fine

Also thank for the difficulty feedback in fact we made it hard on purpose but you're also right the frame to play is a little bit short ( also it go even faster at like 40 pizza or something like that )

Hope you enjoyed the game and summon a lot of pizza ahah !

scoobydoo 2024-04-17 14:52

Your game was my fav at the last Ludum Dare and this one is also a classic.

Nice job ;) love you guys !

neontropics 2024-04-17 21:53

Fun little rhythm game! Good music and vibes helped make it fun. The timing was pretty good but also pretty strict, and it actually took me longer than I'd like to admit to realize I should've looked at the hands counting to help the timing

The initial parts are a bit boring to replay if you died later

themoonrise 2024-04-18 16:43

Really fun rythm game. I had to laugh when I saw that somone else also made a game about summoning pizza.

padlynn 2024-04-19 16:40

Thanks a lot for your feedbacks !

blank-3d 2024-04-20 21:38

Cool game! I was very bad at it unfortunately.

ungarblapp 2024-04-21 02:08

I enjoyed this, it had two of my favorite things, rhythms and pizzas! Great Work!

padlynn 2024-04-21 15:46

Thanks a lot !

rosypenguin 2024-05-03 21:51

I wish there was feedback on whether I missed a note because it was too early or too late; it's really hard even as someone who loves rhythm games but relies almost entirely on visual cues. I think if there was some way to show a note preview before the hit (like how arrows move toward the note bar in DDR) it would help reinforce the audio cues.

Overall though the game has such a fun concept, great art, and cute audio! Would love to see an update!

rosypenguin 2024-05-03 21:52

Oh and also, props on developing the whole game on a Steam Deck!
