It's like being haunted IT. A SCAREA Network manager :D
Cool game, especially the graphics! I was a little confused at first with the controls in the minigames but it was fun once I figured it out. I felt like I got stuck sometimes after a minigame ended, might've been because I was getting stuck on the summons.
Really rad game! I liked the way you could summon the spirits! loved the beats and the overall look and feel! Good work!
I liked the concept, but I'm too stupid to figure out how to play. Got stuck trying to figure out how to blow air.
Hey there fellow Godot developer :) I like how there is nobody in the office just like in real life - everybody is working from home. And only a lonely spirit-janitor is left to keep the business running. Such a moody game. I like the minigames (although the water one is such a cheese, you can just move off-screen :P) and the office building layout, I just have no idea if it's even possible to catch all of them in time! Screenshot 2024-04-16 0323391.png And on the second day since nobody is in the office anyways, I occupied the CEO cabinet and self-proclaimed myself the new leader of the company.
Really nice! I have a weakness for pixel art and it was certainly great in this game. It was a bit confusing at first when there was nothing to do in the basement, but figured it out. The arrow next to the player definitely helped a lot and was a great addition!
Congrats on finishing your game in time
Liked the concept and the execution i think it was great. I played many many challenges and complete them all until the last minute before the day ends, when it seems i completed too fast the void challenge, and my character got stuck with the wind challenge but without the screen indicating how to complete it, so there i was trying to complete it but i couldnt without the image indicating what to do. I got stuck there until the end of the day without being able to move. Overall a fun experience, keep the good work!
Great use of the graphic pack, the levels were put together nicely. I like the direction, it's a good foundation for future content. Good work!
I really enjoyed this game! The minigames were fun I'd love to see more if you did a full release! Keep up the great work, nice to see others are using godot!
Oh my gosh, how did you guys whip up such an astounding piece in such little time? I'm head over heels for your art style – it must've been a herculean effort, right? And the game's difficulty is just perfect, exuding a vibe of total maturity. I'm so hyped, I can't wait to throw my cash at it! Shut up and take my money!!
@drgcandle I really appreciate the kind words but we can't take credit for the art style. the art was made by Limezu and you can find more of their work on itch.io
I loved the minigames!
Love the graphics but the gameplay I think it should have more things to do instead of just playing the loop minigames.
Can confirm this is how IT works irl.
Awesome artwork! Some issues for me were: - More guidance at the beginning. Took me a while to figure out what was going on. - I couldn't figure out how to know if there's a call order on another floor. I just stood around until an arrow showed up in my floor before I started exploring the other ones - The scenarios are awesome, so it would have been great to have something else to do around the office apart from the mini games - It was confusing to have to do multiple mini game to get a single ghost. A single minigame, perhaps more complex for each ghost would probably be more fun
Congrats on the submission!
Congrats on submission! Great pixel art! Would be nice to have more challenging mini games!
I noticed the extra touches in design like the coffee maker wants water and fire, the sink wants water and air (because you need to dry your hands), and the guy in the toilet, he wants... void (HAHAHAHA!!!) I personally think the challenge of the mini games is well balanced, as the real challenge of the game is to complete as many jobs as you can in a day. The game ran smoothly. (Thanks a BUNCH for the web build!) It is a fun little game. The only suggestion I would have is like others have stated, knowing what floors the jobs are on. maybe a little UI box and/or displaying the number of jobs on a floor in the elevator menu would be a good addition.
Fun game! I enjoyed getting better and better at the minigames as time went on; that was a rewarding game loop. It also took time to figure out the best strategy for completing the most tasks. I think this could be improved by spreading out the jobs a bit more. I was able to stay on the Cube Farm level for most of the game, and only ever saw one task in the executive suite. Overall fun time!
Really brought back tech support memories for me! Rushing from place to place to repeat the same almost mindless procedures but the list growing faster than the you can solve them...
I wanted to know the story, but bugs got in the way. For example, the summoner screen closed, but continued to work and I could not do anything( Game looks good hope u will fix and improve it!:)
This is one of the most varied and engaging games I've played this jam. Love the minigames, and there's such a great mood + atmosphere in this one.
If you continue working on this, consider spacing out the intro tutorials and having the player walk up to each one and interacting with them to begin.
And do a little more "show don't tell" with the initial exposition.
But overall I was really really impressed with this one. Great job!
I really like this pixel art style!
