Ha that's hilarious, I got 1600 without dropping FPS and then I died because I couldn't move at all :P

Games with absurdly large guns are my kind of videogames! I like this!

I can't ever remember playing a game that has the casings you fire actually become a gameplay element, so that was super creative and created a neat experience when you're dodging around them.

This is one of those games where my recommendations are just, like, I want more it: more enemies on screen at once, more and different things to blow up, and more and bigger guns!

Nice idea. I wish the enemies were a bit more squishy, and there was more of them.

The audio was way too quiet though.

I really liked this! The theme is very well integrated, with both the bullets blocking up your space, and the screen real estate just being so limited. It felt super claustrophobic, which was obviously the point. I agree the enemies were a tad too tanky, but I get what you were going for (it keeps the tension up). The art is very cohesive too!

Thank you for playing @red-stake!! I'm very happy with the feedback!! After the jam, I can expand the game hehehe!

I played until the physics went haywire and flung me into the enemy (at around 1500 bullets)!

Very interesting implementation of the theme - because getting stuck means certain death it feels like I the room I am in is my health bar, ammo clip size, level, everything! :D

Limited space, more like limited frames. Dropped to 70fps when all screen was full of bullet

doug-graham 2023-10-02 23:18

Like the Vampire Survivors vibe. Had 1476 max bullets on screen and my laptop was still chugging along just fine. Nice entry!

Funny concept. I really tried to bring my notebook into its knees, but unfortunately I think you can't get past 2022 bullets. 29 FPS was the lowest I could reach:

I love the art style and the subtle crt effect. Good job!

Simple, effective, fun. I wondered what the green gem was that I could turn gray. My talent was more limiting than my processor - played about ten times and topped out at around 850 bullets. Nice job, and a fun use of the theme.

An interesting take on the theme and nice work on the graphics. The gameplay felt a bit simple though and I didn't put it together that the gem was what was causing the zero-G. The enemies also felt super tanky.

Very fun concept ! I didn't expect this kind of approach to the theme, I like it a lot. Too bad there isn't some sound to complement the game, but the rest is great !

GG

good take on the game theme. My CPU was crying with all those bullets :smiley_cat: Would have been awesome to hear the Gatling firing sound.

game idea : 5 stars!love this game mechanism so much, while the content of this game is a bit sparse; maybe adding some change to my gun or find some way to destroy my bullet shell can be great xD. nice work

WOW those guys are tough stuff! Really felt the theme with my huge body on the tiny screen, and THEN THE BULLETS! Slayed some bomber guys but always boxed myself in eventually.

Cool idea and it was fun to blast away.

xeke-death 2023-10-11 10:47

Sat in the bottom right and unleashed hell on the poor guys until they learned to take cover. Got to 2022 bullets before a sponge walked up to me and exploded. Interesting concept overall.

Great graphics and excellent idea. Gun's really satisfying to fire.

Early on wished there was more enemy variety.. but then when the screen filled up it all clicked together and it was great :D

Would have loved music.

You created very funny and absorbing benchmark for computers! Well done!

Very interesting game, and it's the most unexpected way I've seen fitting the theme. It's really funny to see the number of shell casings go crazy.good job

kazuma 2023-10-17 20:17

it's fun to play
