How to unlock other species
Hi @bot-hopps. With the "space" or "enter" keys you can mix your active resource (visible at the bottom of the screen) with the tile you are hovering over. If the combination has a result, you will see it appear. And you can consult the main possible combinations in your index with the "I" key. Good luck!
I won't rate yet, because I didn't get to fully experience the game, but I couldn't figure out how to place stuff down and what to do with it? I collected a bunch of water and lava and clicked everything I could imagine on my keyboard.
@arvis did you try the keys "space" or "enter" ? You can drop your active ressource (visible at the bottom of the screen) on the tile your are hovering over. If a combination is possible, you will see it. For example lava on a default tile make a desert. Give it a try and tell us if it's OK for you. And thanks for trying it.
I really like your game! The character design is very cute, and the combination of exploring different plots is also very interesting. However, it seems that I can’t collect 4 flowers after collecting 2 flowers, and the cat’s plot doesn’t seem to produce any resources. I don’t know if the reason why I can’t unlock several plots is related to this issue20231003162741.png
@caoker Hello ! Thanks for your return. I confirm that the cat does not generate resources. For flowers, it's a mystery, we haven't been able to reproduce the issue. Normally, you should have succeeded in your objective. You have to try hard other combinations to unlock other plots. Thanks for playing, it's cool that you liked it.
Interesting game, caught me quite a while. You should write in the HUD that you can control the selector also with q and e, which is easier to control with wasd :) To me it was a lot of trial and error and some outcome was not expected but I guess this is part of the concept. I should tutorial might help to get easier into the game. Anyway, the game motivated me to explore the world.
Nice game, simple but interesting. Not exactly in theme though. Enjoyed playing. Design, sounds, controls all feels good.

Nice game! was not able to fully complete challenges< road and cloud were too hard for me, but still managed to create other blocks) Nice alchemy game.
I'll suggest improving tutorial moment (because controls were not listed in description) Also some tips for players who are stuck (like me)

At start I thought you need to make those circles around rocks to make stuff, but find out quickly you don't need to. Just mix and match different types together.
If you wanna work on it more, then maybe add different planets with different types. Maybe you need a space rocket and then you can move to another planet? :smile:
I thought you could add to that road somehow, the don't connect if they are not in line and same direction. Did learn that the cats direction effects road direction.
If you wanna make it even harder: disable resource respawning, only give one item per source. That way you need to strategize more how to fill the planet. Also removing the option to reset some types to the default starting tile would make it harder. But I guess it wouldn't be as much fun than filling the planet fast.
J'ai découvert ce projet FR via le stream : onepointstream Je viens de tester, j'aime beaucoup ce que vous avez fait sur la partie artistique ! Surtout que c'est en 3D ! Bravo à vous :) Dommage qu'il ait pas de tuto, même un petit popup pour expliquer vite fait, quelques problèmes pour les contrôles, j'ai mis un certains temps pour commencer à utiliser les ressources. Mais dès que tout ça est compris le jeu est vraiment fun ! Bravo à la team qui a taffé dessus vous avez fait un travail incroyable dans tous les domaines ! Bravo :)

Interesting mechanics. Art and music are amazing too, they really add to the whole experience. Although, some combinations were unintuitive. I opened all cell types in list, but there were no roads which I needed for the quest. Overall, great relaxing and interesting game. One of the best I encountered on this Jam so far!
Wonderful relaxing atmosphere, and a treasure trove of elements to combine in order to populate a barren hexagonal planet! A brilliantly concocted 'mix' 😉!
As for the last element (the ???), what insolent luck was mine! After some serious pondering, I chose the brute-forcing tactic. What a relief to start this technique on the right hexagon 😂

Thanks for this nice relaxing game loved the hex world and the cute graphics. Really enjoyed the combining of the elements and finding out all the little secrets great work.
This has to be one of my favorite games from this Ludum Dare. It combines the alchemy game style with a cute little cosmic cat. Love it. Works well, and adds a bit of trial and error so you can figure out what you're doing. I think with this game you could go even farther, like other alchemy games, where you can get even more interesting seeds.

this game's visual style is very cute, I didn't understand how "limited space" applied to it though ;-; it felt like there was a lot of space to do everything I needed to. it's cool that it has controller support too. pretty solid!

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but trying to place stuff on empty tiles doesn't seem to do anything, so I was left with most of the planet being useless and only being able to utilize the preexisting lava and water tiles.
Nice one! As other said a bit hard to understand at first, but once you get it it becomes fun to try and guess the combinations. I got to amber and dragon eggs, but couldn't figure out how to get frogs. Good job!
@grizeldi Hello, this is surprising. Each tile gives you a resource that you are free to use as you wish on other tiles to generate new ones. Some combinations do not give results, others must be tried. Thanks for playing!
A cute game for relax! I like the mechanics of tile and item combinations.
I really tried but I could not for the life of me figure out how to make the forest or windmill :< I thought I wen through every combination on the map. Anyway, it was a nice and sweet game. I really like these kind of combination discovery games. It was exciting to see new stuff appear on the world, and for it to get full of all these adorable tiles. I was honestly sad I couldn't look up a wiki to get a hint on the wood combo so I could try to finish the rest haha.

What I liked: - the idea of a 3d planet with combinable tiles, reminded me a bit of Doodle god - process of cultivating the planet is great and worth playing - took me a while, but I was able to complete the game and was pretty satisfied once I managed it :smile: - playing as a kitty is always great :smirk_cat:
What could have been done differently: - the inventory is annoying, I think it would be much better if you can see all the item fields at once - adding other sound effect would be nice - mention also that inventory can be controled by Q and E
But overall great experience, well done! :thumbsup:

The character designs are so cute and I love the kittens. The concept of combinable tiles and 3d planets together is creative. I Wish there are more fun backgrounds behind the planet！
