Love the graphics, love the sound effects. It ends pretty abruptly, but I guess that's 48 hours for you.

Oh, one criticism, I do feel like the distance indicator could have been a little more prominent.
I loved the atmosphere this game set and the music was really good. Only criticism i have is how long the elevator can take to get down but besides that its a great game.
Nice game! Here are some of my thoughts: - It would have been nice if the first objective was a little bit easier. It took me a long time to figure out where to go - W/D support for moving would be nice for those of us that are used to that control scheme
I liked your take on the theme.
@shatteredmindofbob thanks a lot for your feedback!
@the-hat-guy thanks very much for the feedback. It is true that the elevator has a a long wait-time, I just didn't have time to fix it...
@firebelley What is W/D? Thanks a lot for your feedback, it is true that I should make the "Distance" label in the top left corner bolder so it makes the quests easier.
+ The delivery's didn't make much sense beyond the first one, and they appeared one after the other. If they existed from the start the pickup system would make more sense and I feel it would be more fun getting the neat quest and being like "oh I saw that on my way over, I know where it is." rather than wandering almost aimlessly. + Traversing the whole map looking for something took quite some time, I explored the whole map on my first delivery trying to find it. + I liked the messages on the the signs, although I thought it would give us a fake cake so we would have to look for the "rocks" for that delivery
@ellaris thanks a lot for your feedback. No delivery is supposed to make sense, when there is no recipient. I know the map design us really bad, didn't have enough time to make it better. Didn't ever thought of the can't sign being misleading, thanks for the feedback
I liked Wall-E, I liked this one as well. Relatively speaking, for 48 hours, it was moving. :) But I think I had a different playthrough than the others, because I instantly continued going to the right after I picked up the stick. So I went a round on the map, before I started doing the quests at all. :D I guess either the dog statue should have been on the right or the distance indicator should have a direction arrow as well. :D Anyway, really solid entry, nice!
@tudvari thanks a lot for the feedback! Wall-e was indeed the inspiration for the game. Unfortunately you were not the only one to continue going to the right. In an after-jam version (if I do one) I'll have the statue very close to the character.
Great atmosphere and landscape, in contrast the underground was not that interesting, but ... it's underground. I got stuck on the first dog, since I thought it would be below me, so I kept going in loops, so might be better to at least have the first delivery more straightforward.
I think you nailed the music and mood :)
Loved the art and music, a fun chill game, dog statue was cute as well. Did get stuck in the floor under the elevator tho haha.
Nice pixel art. Rated 5 stars for mood!
I loved the mood. I got stuck on my first run, since I didn't understand that I had to pick up the rock, so I just jumped over, jumped over the first hole and then fell down a few times, because I wanted to explore.
In my second run I played as intended and saw how well the level was designed.
Good job!
Pretty nice game! The graphics were very cute -and I loved the animation when picking stuff up! The 'distance meter' was very forgiving, and kept the game from feeling tedious.
One small issue I had, is that I didn't notice the stick at first, and since the distance meter brought me to the dog, I spent some time trying to pick up the dog !
You might also consider putting the controls (x and z) on screen. It's somewhat easy to forget, and would help people from getting stuck. I didn't do this for my game either, but I think I will do it for next LDJam.
The game is nice!
I like the idea of a robot delivering useless stuff, at the day and age, where all is lost anyway. The robot is adorable and I love his dialogue window (want to give it a hug).
The game ends suddenly when you run out of battery i suppose but hey 48 hours is small amount of time ^^
My only suggestion would be to have a faster elevator. I can also see this game expanding if you feel like developing some more. Having a bot with a grappling hook for example, meeting new characters in the wasteland looking for stuff to do etc. Really coool idea and setting! The song is super cute too!
Cute mood!
Good music and sounds. I really like the contrast between the background and the cheery theme. You also did a great job on the sprite animation. Cool to see a story and some good writing as well. My only real gripe is after exploring it took me a while to loop back around for my deliveries.
I loved this game, thank you for sharing it with us! The story is awesome, and ties together the other aspects in this game really well. The confusing deliveries didn't bother me, because I was expecting it. Loved the art and music as well. The robot animations were so nice, as well as the occasional flashes in the sky!
Also really liked the "tutorial" part and how it was integrated into the game.
Like others mentioned, would be nice to have the movement option to include alternative to the arrows. The WASD + space to jump might feel more comfortable for some players. Was also missing some sort of option to close the game at end, but I know that 48 hours is... a short time. You've done a really good job within this short time span!
@greenphox At first I lost the wooden stick, then the elevator basically killed me xD. However with the power of F5 everything was fine again :D. I liked the concept and storytelling and the background music did well in creating a fitting mood :). Well done!
Graphics look good, I like the way the controls are introduced. Nice audio.
The distant, dilapidated buildings and the signs in front of me - at the beginning of the game, I felt a deep sense of loneliness, but I wasn't really alone because I had this cute robot with me. It's a really cool game.:hearts:
