Didn't really understand the game only button i see do anything is "Save To Inteniary" and it seemingly just saves them can't really find any gameplay.

@willm It looks like something has changed on itch since the last time i put up a game that broke how I was handling input, one of my older games is broken too. I will try to fix it or upload it a different way when I get home from work.

EDIT: I've checked and it's definitely working on my desktop and my laptop. It isn't working on mobile when the other game definitely used to.

@willm I've added a windows build to the itch page. You can see if that one works.

really nice puzzle game, i like that the levels can be different like the ocean one, only thing is that i found the last levels maybe easier than the last ones, anyway short game but i really had fun finishing it and trying to have a good score (110.5 days) Capture d’écran 2023-05-02 095613.png

Cool idea! I like how you've taken the tile-sliding puzzle formula and added individual tile values and also some interplay between each map's itinerary. I'm not the world's best puzzle solver, so I really like that you've added the flexibility to move back and forth between maps and improve your routes over time to save more time/gold by fine-tuning the travel routes. The music is nice, and I really like how each map has a region title and some unique flavor text. The puzzles are tricky but a solid challenge and I think I'm getting the hang of it after testing out the mechanics and tile variations in each. Great job on this one!

This is an excellent idea for a game. You've taken sliding puzzle mechanics and mashed it up with a quick shortest-path algorithm to create a coherent and extremely interesting concept. I had a lot of fun and I especially like how all of the puzzles combine together into an overall puzzle. Very nice!

With better graphics, a tutorial, and perhaps some roguelike mechanics to enable puzzle generation, I could see this game doing really well on the casual games market or on mobile platforms. Don't give up on this idea! Hit me up on Twitter if you'd like some help. @FrabjousStudios.

Well done! Keep being awesome! 😁

Tried to maximize the profits, it turns out that the game is extremely generous with how many days the game allocates to us for the itinerary; only the levels that you can't cross with modifications are required to reach the destination in time. Too bad that, for an optimization game like that, you can't keep your last itinerary and you have to redo everything when you click on one of the segment of the itinerary.

It was really fun, even if it's such a simple game, I like the almost zachtronics-like take on a classic puzzle-toy, and the packaging/context/narrative design of these taquins! Good job and really nice layering.

really cool idea to build upon the tile sliding puzzle, took me a while to understand how to play but once i figured it out it was a lot of fun to try and optimise

Nice casual game! I couldn't make up my mind on if I should focus on getting as little travel time or as few gold spent but I ended up with a compromise at about 112 days and 269 gold

philwonder 2023-05-04 00:41

Fun relaxing game. Feels like there are lots of possibilities for additional maps.

zerovirus 2023-05-04 00:47

Got 123 days for 315 gold! Not the most optimized run, but I did my best. I enjoyed playing this game a lot!

leyamez 2023-05-04 00:58

So much fun! 10/10

profugo-barbatus 2023-05-04 01:11

Not bad! Most of the maps were not worth optimizing with the time limit, but the ones that were served as nice little puzzles to work through. A nice and relaxing take on the theme!

Nice concept! I gotta say I'm not a puzzle person so I was bored on one or two occasions (like the Blue Mountains, where I saw what to do quite fast but still had to do the 30-something moves to actually do it). But I'm saying it just 'cause I like to complain :stuck_out_tongue: And even grumpy me finished your game soooo It's quite polished, I really like that there's a global goal on gold / time, and that the level selection menu looks like an accounting document, overall the aesthetics felt quite consistent. Also I liked that there were two things to actually optimize, which probably gives some replayability. Actually, I only ran once through the levels optimizing for time as much as I could, and ended the game with a lot of available money, so I guess the 1000g boundary could be moved down a bit to force people like me to save some of their gold! In terms of innovation, well the tile sliding mechanic is not new but using it for the path optimization was a good idea that felt quite new to me! Thanks a lot for the experience! and congrats on the final product, it's quite cool! :)

Nicely done! The music adds a lot to the silk road trader vibe. I got this happy dopamine hit every time I completed a level. Graphics suffered a bit in comparison to gameplay, but I was so absorbed in the puzzle solving that I didn't notice after a few minutes. The mechanics were simple but enjoyable - the best kind.

The lack of a proper end screen is one little thing I didn't like. Great game overall though!

Strangely relaxing. I really like this spin on the classic sliding block puzzle as it actually makes you think instead of blindly shifting blocks. I'm not much of a puzzle guy myself, but it was fun to try to optimize for the right solutions (despite me being really bad at these types of games lol). Art is pretty cool as well, with the music it creates a really soothing atmosphere. I guess the problems I had with the game are about sliding block puzzles in general (takes to long to get a tile where you need), but this game improves on those aspects. Well done!

Very nice puzzle game. I love your idea!

Echoing what other people said here, really really cool take on this style of game. Had a blast going through each one, but did wish for a little bit more variety in the puzzles, as some felt like exact copies of each other. Either way, super neat idea and very well executed, great job!

Good use of a simple puzzle game spent way more time than I'd like to admit sliding these around. Very smooth satisfying mechanics. Some visual animations of the carts traveling and some added puzzles would take this to a whole other level pun intended.
