Gaaah, flying is space is hard man. I had a bit of time getting friends with the controls but otherwise it was an interesting game.
I really liked the atmosphere: No music, clacky typewriter sounds (I think that's what that was!), and a shadowy not-so-great flashlight. Felt awesome! I just found the gameplay a little frustrating, which I think was the point. I loved spending a little lonely time in silence, jetting around the place. Great job!
Cool game, not sure about the theme. Looks nice. A bit hard to control, my astronaut got into a wicked spin and probably got very motion sick.
Bit too floaty and I'm not fan of controls being relative to local axis. At least should tie camera to character, would make it more fun.
That said otherwise controls are tight (floaty but tight, am I crazy?), in that they are well executed and wont break.
I enjoy really adventurous control schemes like this, I get the impression that with some practice someone could get really good. I want to see a speedrun of this. My meta was to set myself into a spin and then tap W and S as needed.
But man I suck at this game. I wish I could see more of it. Very interesting!
I gave this one five stars for both mood and atmosphere - very effective! Nice job on getting the zero gravity controls to look really good in action, with the tiny jets animating on your suit for each input angle. I wasn't able to get very far without running out of oxygen, but I could see a later version of this being very interesting and eerie to explore! Great work on your jam entry! :)
I held Q for 30 seconds and never stopped spinning! it was pretty awesome! Great work!
Great job! Took a while to get the hang of the movement but also the movement that made it so much fun and challenging. Great mood in general! Thumbs up :)
Great atmosphere, interesting core controls, not really my cup of tea. I kinda felt alone and helpless which is a feat.
controls are tough! atmosphere is nice and spooky :)
My claustrophobia strikes back, a-ha-ha.
real nice atmosphere, idea is fun but i had a real hard time controlling the movement i kept spining out of control x)
It took me a second to get the controls but I liked that I had to be careful with the controls, made it challenging. I almost feel like the Q/E and A/D controls could have been swapped, though. And maybe the accel/deccel could have been more responsive just to give more control?
Loved the atmosphere, the lighting was cool and spooky
The game atmosphere is good, the controls are bit off, had hard time controlling it.
Like others have said, the game and atmosphere is quite good, and the controls are doing the game a disservice. I think that tank controls can be fine, but tank controls that control a very heavy feeling physics thing, which also starts out as inverted (moving from top to down) making up -> down, down-> up, left -> right and right -> left is quite weird.
A great idea the game had was the inclusion of a continue button next to the try again button. That was very smart, especially for jam games that aren't always balanced. I might steal that idea for the future :)
Nice control mechanics, great job
Interesting game. I liked the fact that the game rewarded careful, deliberate thruster inputs, which seemed appropriate for a space game with limited fuel. On the other hand, it was a bit too easy to get stuck on walls and debris. Also, at times I had a little trouble telling the difference between pits and walls.
