Unfortunately, the game doesn't load for me, there's just a grey screen.

Interesting game! Some of the colors are hard to distinguish on the beads and beacons below (maybe add some outline, or unique shape that matches with color). Also 5 orbs is a bit difficult to manage with one hand, but that might have been the intention.

resacagames 2022-10-03 19:15

Weirdly addicting, but so easy to lose!! Having the color HUD so far makes it kind of hard to know what key throws which color but it became easier with time. Nice use of the theme!

hotaloca 2022-10-03 19:15

Well done! It's a nice little game. It was difficult for me to match the colors - some shapes might have helped to match better the numbers? Also if you could not make the shot the first time it took long for the ship to turn around so I always died :)

lavendaggers 2022-10-03 19:21

Once I got the hang of it, I got kinda hooked

lisyarus 2022-10-03 19:26

Beautiful art! The gameplay is quite simplistic, and I can't say it matches the theme well: nothing happens _every_ 10 seconds, it's just that you have 10 seconds to win. The game also felt a little bit unfair - after some failures there's no way you could reach the failure point again in 10 seconds. A final note: it's a bad idea to tell the player to press Alt+F4 for a web game, it will close the whole browser :)

dhim 2022-10-03 20:29

It does not load for me, the unity progress bar is stuck to 0...

enver-arco 2022-10-03 20:42

@dhim did this happen on the itch link at https://enverarco.itch.io/zelenium

gotanod 2022-10-03 21:03

I have nicely played using the itch link. I like the look and feel.

dhim 2022-10-03 21:03

Yes, I'll keep the window open for a longer time to see if something happens after a long long time. I am on MacOs/Chrome. Well still not loading

enver-arco 2022-10-03 21:12

@dhim maybe try in another browser

gus-the-shark 2022-10-03 22:27

Killer mood in this game, reminds me a bit of the "another world" game. Props!

malai 2022-10-03 23:20

Looks and sounds amazing! At first I had no clue where the balls would come from, it took a while to not miss the beacons because of the offset. A indication in the artwork or something else, visually showing where the orbs would come would have been helpful.

pixelydian 2022-10-04 14:31

This reminded me of those timed drop ball games at arcades - simple but also addicting! The best score I got was 18. My only constructive criticism is that it was a little difficult at first to tell what color was what. Some of that may be my monitor, but I would have liked those colors to be a little brighter, maybe have a colored glow effect around them as well? Anyway the environment art is beautiful and you put together a nice little game! Could see this being expanded - what if the ship moved vertical? Maybe it moves on a winding path? Maybe it's speed alternates? Lots of cool potential here. Good job!

pygargue-pirate 2022-10-04 14:35

Graphics are very good !

enver-arco 2022-10-04 15:02

Nice suggestions @pixelydian and good points about the color. I'll add a glow effect in a post jam build

eugenik 2022-10-04 20:37

I love that art style and gameplay!.

boxedmeatrevolution 2022-10-05 04:30

You should work in teams! It's tons of fun, and you don't lose your vision, you get other people's vision + yours, which is usually better than yours alone! The ambience of your game was great, although I found the gameplay quite frustrating. Especially because I couldn't tell the colours of the beacons apart very well, and you had to be fairly precise with the drops. Also, there was a lot of waiting around for the ship to get places, which I found boring. It already barely matches the theme, just ignore the theme and just restart right away when you miss one! It was worth playing through all the levels though because I got to see more of your AI generated backgrounds, which were quite nice

badcop 2022-10-05 09:08

I played this one on stream last night! unfortunately the VOD got muted, so no link :(

this game is really pretty and peaceful! I enjoyed it, thanks for bringing it by the stream :)

ccollider 2022-10-05 13:51

It's a bit tough to tell some of the alien colours apart, but otherwise it's a solid game, congrats on getting it done in 24hrs!

🤔,Seems like a lot has been said by others in front of me. Anyway, thanks for your willingness to wait and play my game!

coderaurus 2022-10-06 07:04

The waiting for inevitable doom after missing gets bit tedious, especially when you suck at aiming those orbs. Maybe giving the beacons little wider colliders or adding some sort of aim line could make it more bearable.

Some sort of sci-fi beat would have been cool.

Nice job regardless.

mrbamboo 2022-10-09 22:31

Very minimalist, no so much to say. Great
