Very fun game! It's incredible there is so many enemy types created in such a short amount of time! Gameplay feels very slick and fast pased and controls are tight!

The game's artstyle is really, really nice. SFX are amazing too. The theme is brought in nicely, and the gameplay is quite innovative. The game is super difficult though. Player actions feel a bit slow/lagged, and hitboxes are very unforgiving. Otherwise, immaculate game. Amazing.

Love the combat style and spritework! Landing a parry or attack feels really satisfying. My only complaint is the controls, I think having up as jump instead of a jump button, and maybe having parry on a different button than roll would have been more intuitive and feel better to play.

Ì like the idea a lot, but the controls are in weird places. I could definitely see this exact system used in a space with a slightly larger map, or things to hide behind! Love the graphics and sound.

Art and narrative is certifiably is very swag. It'd be nice if you could bring up the controls again (I skipped them the first time and then paid the price big time). A couple of kinda querky hit boxes and resolution things but overall this is simply :sunglasses:

Game looks and sounds great! But - after dying almost immediately numerous times I'm afraid I just don't have the patience to learn the somewhat unintuitive controls well enough to get very far.

Nice work on the art everywhere - great job turning that out in 72 hours. I played this for a second session a bit more, and managed to get to see the security guards. I how you used the parry mechanic to connect to the magic bolt mechanic, and you did a good job introducing the concept over time. My main critique was that it took just a little too long between reattempts on a level, especially given how often I was dying. I'd rather instantly respawn in a new level than watch the cinematic fade-in/fade-out.

Really cool game, the combat was interesting really made you think of your next move given how much energy you have. I think the controls are a bit confusing at first, maybe jumping could be mapped just to the up key, the deflection and dodging mapped to the same key was a bit hard to get used to but it made sense as deflection stops your movement so it makes sense to stop and then deflect. Overall I really liked it, the effects, the gameplay, very well polished entry!

Very polished game!! Audio and graphics were nice, the mechanics were innovative, I loved the katana zero vibe... but it was hard as hell. Had fun thou, good job!!
