I really like the graphics in this game! Everything looks so smooth and kinda minimalistic. But for a while I totally didn't understand what should I do in this game.

Very nice pacing I really got catch into the game.
Very cool pixel art. Looks like an arcade-ish game but was surprised when the RPG elements popped up. Sometimes I was a little bit overwhelmed by all the upgrades. Nice job on having a leader board.
Very cool little game, the amount of variety you have in your upgrades is cool, it would be nice if they had a bit more synergy. The game feels a bit quiet though, which creates an interesting mood, but doesn't fit the overall gameplay experience, so maybe add some of that ;)
Well done!
Super fun! And addictive as the screenshot of that stream shows ;) You can get some fun crazy builds, very much enjoyed
Very fun and addictive! Really love the upgrade system, a bit overwhelming at first but makes for great replayability as it's fun to explore how the different upgrades affect gameplay.
Great work!
Capture.PNG Cool Game
Lola from the Twitch chat! Fantastic entry, best one I've played so far. Movement is great, upgrades get the endorphins going. Really brilliant core loop.
RE - the movement, what you said in the chat is what I meant. You change direction but you continue in the original direction for a split second. Would feel sort of like a "drift" if you get what I mean.
If you want playtesters for further builds, I am 100% here for it :D
I played your game on the stream with almost a success at the end. Managed almost to get to the end of the world with a defensive build. The inspiration from Vampire Survivors is clear but it was a good shoot and the genre (can we already can it genre?) and I had a lot of fun because of the setting and the tempo. There are definitely more than one build to try, so it encourages trying again, enough times for a jam game. Playing Witch's End you need to pay attention because it is not so hard to die, which happened to me when I was a bit distracted.
We discussed a bit about what I like and dislike and future plans, so I will just mention that movement was something I had to get use to, especially when both movement and "attacks" are on the same button.
But overall, a great game :book:
PS: My favourite witch waifu was a blonde :)
I see the potential here. Everything was smooth except for the pacing, perhaps. I had a clutter of books to go through at the start, so I couldn't really appreciate the individual power increase from them.
I really like the art style and the setting of the game. The ability pickup screen in particular is really nicely drawn. Flying around on the broom is cool but I wish it was a tiny bit faster.
Cool submission!
Great game! Really like the number of powerups. Cool idea and fits well with the theme.
Cool game, the graphics all fit nicely with each other and the sort of distant firework like explosion noises really sort of hit the right vibe of "encroaching darkness ending the world". The darkening edges of the screen when you take damage also worked well to create the right sort of atmosphere.
Enjoyed it and will probably come back and play a bit more!
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my stream!

It reminds me of the "vampire survivors" game. Very cool and playable, although some powerups are just a mystery for me (like "flame whip").
Lovely game. More variety of tomes might be nice, it gets very stressful as the time ramps up! Would love to see more of this.
