I really like this kind of game. If you check my LD historical, you will find many games about sensitive themes. Maybe we should make a game on LD together someday. Thanks for publish this.

This game is an intense mood which I think a lot of people who have struggled with these things can relate to.
The visual representation with the looming thoughts that pop up all the time feels insanely accurate, and together with the music and sound effects, it set the mood for what you tried to do here perfectly. To me, this was perhaps the most innovative 'game' this jam. Thanks for sharing!
A creative take on the theme. The visuals are nothing short of spectacular- innovative and absorptive, literally and figuratively. The audio also perfectly matches the tone of the spiral. It's truly a powerful message, but despite it, from a strictly gameplay perspective, some slight variety could make this fantastic concept go a long way.
Wow, extraordinary entry for a Ludum dare game! I really enjoy how you want to create the atmosphere of depression by those hand-drawn "hairs" (I know they are not lmao) and the rotating people that fell into the center of the vortex. The whole show is creepy and impressive. It reminds me of my last LD49 entry about Insomnia, which shares some similar experiences there. Also, excellent job on the audio!
Impressive hand drawn animations. Maybe keep the text readable by not rotating them upside down? Or is this part of the experience?
Great work on this and a really unique entry for LD. Nice work!
Thank you everyone for the feedback!
@jungle - Yeah, let's talk about it!
@shadowcast - Yes, it's more about the experience than what the actual text said, because that can differ from person to person.
Great game, love the hand drawn bit at the end when i entered the depression hole.
I love the visual and audio effects. However as a game it seems like the only way to get the full intended experience is to... not try to play it and let yourself experience the process of losing. Or is there actually a way to escape?
Simply fantastic. Like, actually, masterfully done. Reminds me of 'Loneliness.' (the game, not the emotion) This is a game where gameplay and story are one and the same, where the game is about realizing that the repetitive gameplay and the hand-hurting repeated motion and the chanting voices *want* you to give up. At first I was confused, (and frankly kinda annoyed) at the game. I mashed the button for a while, but I eventually gave up because I just wanted the game to be over with. At some point, though, just before it all went dark, I realized I didn't want to give up. I didn't want to prove the point of what I had played so far: that I *should* just give up. So I started mashing the button, actually hitting it harder than I intended to, out of some sort of unexpected desperate emotion. And I found that it was too late, the timer too short, that it was inevitable. And then it ended.
good job.
Well can't says it was fun but hey the animation are really nice at the end
Very nice animation and representation of your material. All of the voices at the end was pretty stressful.
Well that was grim. Especially since the descent into the dark was inevitable.
Rating this game as art, more than as a game, but honestly really well done. Assets, sounds, and mood were just amazing. this totally seems like something you'd find in an interactive art gallery. Very nice!
The minimal art style looks great! Good job.
