Nice work, mate! I played through 3 levels, but the input was a bit too sensitive to successfully chain the boxes to cross the spike pit and I gave up haha!
Out of fairness, I played the JAM version of the game, but honestly the sound wasn't that unbearable. At least with your warning it didn't hurt.
The graphics are great - very thematic, and the way things like the logs wobbled when I walked on them was a really nice touch. Overall, great work, even in spite of the lack of SFX. The gameplay still felt pretty good!
Very nice entry, it remind me warioland on my game boy ! Very cool puzzle platformer, with crate, falling platform etc.... great work. I'd just notice a collision bug with the big crate but nothing really important (i've test the post jam version). Ps: the sound of the music is weak.
Such a big game for such a little jam. Well done. Graphics 6/5. :v:

That's really good!
If I had one criticism though, I think the theme of unsuitability was touched on here and there, but I don't know if I'd consider it a main gimmick of the game. Some platforms fall but that's pretty typical of platformers. Maybe if more levels dialed in on that collapsing mine idea. (Maybe it was on the to do list, I dunno) Also the grab mechanics were a touch finicky for my liking.
But aside from that, really well done!
Art looks great! Love all the little touches like the dust clouds, and the platforms shattering apart. It feels great to throw the blocks around, but also a little strange that you can't turn around once you've picked up a box. Otherwise, great entry.
a impressive game but the controls are too much sensitive

I WANT MORE! Where are those next levels buddy?! On a more serious note, what a job! Incredible entry. Ok it miss the sound but the level of polishing of this game is outstanding, all those little effects. I had so much fun playing it. I as well love how you play around the theme. I really wanted more at the end hahaha. Curiosity question, do you use your own engine? :)

Nice graphic and gameplay. I love the music too.
Graphics are beautiful, game looks like something I can buy on Steam, ofc needs more polishing. Author is a great pixel artist
It's probably a good sign when your first thought on finishing a game is wishing there was more of it. Let's see, lovely pixel art to start with, it's varied enough to make the environment interesting. Shame about the sounds in the jam release as their presence really is missed (I played both versions). I also found the controls to be very tight and responsive. Though I played on gamepad first, the keyboard controls ultimately didn't give me any real trouble. One little change I'd suggest is making the boxes shake the ground on impact, but I guess that's one of the things that had to get left on the cutting room floor.
But yeah, overall, and excellent game here.
This game had such nice feel to it! (Played the post-jam version fyi so there was some audio helping out.) But overall everything just felt so nice - the jump felt good, the ramping up speed with the run felt good, picking up and dropping felt good. And looked good too!! Visuals were great! (And the character was hot lol I hope that is useful feedback.) The puzzles were satisfying to solve but never too tricky.
The only snag I hit was it took me a while to get used to the fact that you can't turn around while carrying a box. For a while I kind of subconsciously felt I must have been doing something wrong and it took me a bit to realize that's how it's designed to work. I think I would have caught on a lot faster (and been more open to it) if you leaned even more into the feeling of carrying a heavy box! Cutting the movement speeed while carrying even more, maybe a more strained animation, and a more noticeably different animation for walking backwards with the box (right now I think his eyes just change direction?). Right now it feels like he's having an easy time carrying the box, which makes me expect he'd be able to turn around with it. But also he IS super buff so he probably IS having an easy time carrying it.... hm...
Anyway thanks for the fun game!!
Nice song, game play and level design ! The graphic design is insane ! I don't know the if it fit the theme... but over all, a really nice game !

Very nice pixelart graphics -- good looking character design. As you saw on the stream there were some minor quality of life issues, but those only really felt out of place since the visuals looked so polished.
Hi there! Thanks for submitting your game for me to play live during my Twitch stream!

Thats a very polished game, congrats! It was a fun short experience although the jam theme is not widely applied. The graphics were really good and the audio did its job well (I played the post jam version). Also, honorable mention to the main menu, its good to see people people paying attention to it.
This game looks very nice! Feels solid, great art, very polished… visually.
It feels like the level design must have been a bit more refined, like there’s game mechanics you have implemented but did not have the time to create levels for them. And I didn’t passed the long pit where you have to cross it with a cage. I died too many times.
Still this feels very clean and ready for more levels to be made :ok_hand:
