The game is very fun, as well as complicated since there are many things to take into account. I definitely had fun trying it, good game!

Sweet! You are taking a simple idea and convert it to a game. The controls are very accessible and when you got it, you can get straight forward very well. The fact that you can see the angle of the monocykl makes it quite "stable" :D - Was fun to play, enjoyed it. Good job! :)
Nice game! Given the time you put into mine I had to return the favor so I got to 120 points! At first it seemed really hard but once I got the hang of it it became kinda easy. It's fun to spam the buttons and the side views help indeed! Graphics are polished and the music is fine. Would've loved some more variety, at least in the level design. Good job!
Nice little fun game. Balance the unicycle! Good game :)
Tons of fun and very addictive!
Really nice game given the time-window! I enjoyed the challenge of having to balance the unicycle across multiple axis, made the game sufficiently difficult. It was a lot of fun once I got the hang of it, nice work!
This was really fun, kind of hard to hear the nice music over the sound of my key mashing though. I really liked that I had to overbalance slightly in order to be able to move forward at all, that makes for an interesting layer of balancing against my own impatience. Only got to 60 because I stopped paying enough attention to lateral balance in my pursuit of speeeed.
This game made my arm sore from smashing the wasd keys so much.
It took a little getting used to (look at the little side and back/front views for balance, _don't_ try to guess it from looking at the main screen), but I was able to get all the way up to 250 by controlling the side-to-side movement with one hand and using the other to keep me from falling on my face while doing a mean lean (probably 15-25 degrees from horizontal) to get good speed.
I also thought of unicycles when I saw the theme was "unstable" - and I'm glad you brought that to the community!
Thanks for all the feedback so far!
@thevinter wow, I wasn't really expecting people to play that long. Congratulations! Level design-wise, I have made some more models for the buildings but I had to scrap them because of problems with the ramp generation. I also have planned adding obstacles - I'm thinking of doing a post-jam improved version.
@aevek haha, thanks. There is a limit to how fast you can go - after reaching it, you just control the tilt. That's not very realistic, but neither is going 1000kph on a unicycle :) Glad you've liked it!
@exmxpx when I was playtesting this in the submission hour I almost woke up everyone at my house (it was ~1 am) because of trying so hard lol
@cromo The main view is a bit confusing - I have no idea how to fix that, so I implemented the sideviews. Maybe I'll figure out how to make it look better in the future (orthographic camera, maybe?)
nice one,
This is simple but fun, but too easy and bit slow. This concept would be nice with into levels. Starting the play i though this is very hard to play, but while you drive only forward it is not hard at all. There could be some coins to collect by on the levels and buy new bikes or skins, or upgrades and drivers maybe. Overall game and concept is very enjoyable and want to play this again, but for now this does have too few content and things to do on it. Usually with one-wheeler many people are able to jump as well, but it would not be the necessary feature on this game.
Interesting and tough. I wish it was a bit clearer what the WASD buttons were doing, I felt like I was having little impact on the monocycle.
Thanks for the feedback! @hiisileiri funny thing, that is exactly what I'm working on as i write this (maybe not skins.. not yet). I want to make a sizeable post-jam update to that. Instead of levels I want to add stages. Each one will have a checkpoint at the beginning and will be generated procedurally. I've just finished the coin implementation. I wanted to add that to the jam version, but ran out of time, unfortunately.
@c0nt it was (and is) really hard to balance their impact. That's why I've changed "use the WASD keys.." to "spamclick the WASD keys..." in the menu.
Nice job, we both had unicycle inspiration! :) The game graphics look nice and the concept is cool, but it is a little difficult to control the unicycle, maybe because you aren't able to control pedalling and balance at the same time, and also I think because we are looking backwards at the unicycle I kept on getting my sideways leaning mixed up. It was fun though, well done.
Nice game, it tooks me a while before figuring out the controls. Once I did, I played until 290 where I miserably fell on the side. Out of curiosity, is there anything to discover or is it just endless rooftops and planks ? As for my suggestion, you could implement some sort of 1v1 where you race against another unicycle controlled by the computer.
Good job on your entry.
@weirdybeardyman thanks for the feedback. The camera's a bit weird, but I have no idea how to make it better. Also, I'm not an expert in unicycles, but I think that you can't really control the forward/backward tilt without moving.
@eptwalabha No, there's nothing at the end - I ran out of time, but I had multiple stages planned. The 1v1 idea seems interesting - maybe I'll look into it later. For now, I'm adding more diversity and bugfixing the game on a post-jam branch.
