Simple yet challenging game, good job!
The art was so minimalist and clean - great! ^_^
Love the minimalist approach! It's simple, and it works!
Also, never before in my entire life i saw "left/right side of your keyboard" as a control scheme
Good job!
The left and right side of the keyboard just meant i was able to push my score up to 49 before i died. :-) simple, yet fun. :-) it was soooo much harder with only one direction before i saw the left and right side of the keyboard.
I had a hard time navigating in some spots because of the camera clipping through the wall.
Really cool game. Fits the theme perfectly :D
neat game, I like the style. I think it's time for me to invest in a new router - fixing it manually is a lot of work!
Found the game a little tricky to learn - a tutorial would have helped - but once I figured it out, it was quite a lot of fun!
Nice work :)
Fun game! Love the lemmings like mechanics but the controls are weird (it took me a while to understand the keys needed for movement of the cursor). Nice minimalistic art! Nice work!
The minimalist art style fits the game perfectly and I like how you telegraph that the pieces of the bridge are not stable for a very long time. I immediately knew what was happening to them and did my best to quickly "stabilize the situation". And it's cool that the packets jump in the air once before falling, as you get an extra chance to place a piece of the bridge under them :)
One suggestion I have to help a bit with learning the tricky controls would be to start off with having to only guide one packet, and then gradually ramping up the challenge.
PS: I think extra congrats should be granted due to the fact that you participated in the jam even though you had plans to play a game in the weekend the jam was running. There was a lot of care put into your game and it's cool that you decided to make a game for people to enjoy. Hopefully you got to play what you were waiting for too! :)
really fun and challenging! the controls mess with my brain which makes it so much more tricky and stand out from other games. the downside of this game is the lack of variety
This is way harder that I expected. I wish there was more variety to the game. Maybe a little bit easier levels with more than one bridge, and different division of keyboard with each level. Nice short game!
Nice game! Just my personal opinion, but maybe A and D/arrow keys might have been a better control scheme, at least for me.
@escapade The point was to be a bit confusing.
Also, over an extremely long period of time that I need to change, the game speeds up to the point where you need to use multiple fingers/keys to keep pace.
@zimny11 That was something I thought about but I had an extremely busy weekend. If I gave myself the full 48 hours that would have probably been in, actually. Top row to move up, bottom row to move down, and home row for horizontal movement.
@masterkrepta Can you send a screenshot?
a simple, yet engaging game. The difficulty was a bit much but honestly props dude for adding the feature where the triangles jump when there’s no platform below. If it weren’t for that I think the game would be way too difficult but how it is with that, it’s fun! I will just say I think the controls are a bit strange, I got used to it but I think the left arrow / right arrow approach would’ve been better. Ultimately it aspires to be a simple game and fun, and it succeeds in that department, final score was 21, props for finishing the game!
I believe it is a game with potential and challenging. I felt a bit lost about the win and loss conditions (speaking of just playing, not having read the descriptions and such before).
Thanks for the game!
