Not good graphics, maybe next time. Average fun game, but maybe next time you will polish the gameplay and it will be better. It not reminde me much of the theme. I like mood in this, game really I like it. I like little that audio, maybe next time.

One last note: I always write down honest review, because everybody need that, not just nice craps with some bullshit, but sometime I will aperceite very good games. So if this review insult you, but use it well :) Anyway every game is counting so :)

I liked stacking the things on top of the walking thing :P

I wasn't sure though what the goal of the game was, so maybe a short introduction/tutorial would've helped. Other than that it seems like a nice game

This game is so cute, i love the idea that you have an alien like camel that transports the prescious junk for you, i love that you can upgrade the carrier, i love the running aninmation and i love the music, the overall setting was a bit confusing as i dont know where i am, but everything else is super fun looking!

I found this one somewhat tricky to get in to.

Adding instructions to the game page would go a long way.

Mood/Vibe is good... the "weird"ness of the art is great.

Also, there's a bug with Godot's web exporter and the audio crackling. Fixed with the latest release, though.

Wow, very negative comments. This is an original idea for a platformer with a good connection to the theme and a fun upgrade mechanic. Fantastic work!

I like the character designs, very creative

elmismopancho 2021-10-06 21:29

Good concept. My biggest issue is that it was really laggy. Like 10fps.

yotamco 2021-10-06 21:29

the music is super cute and fits to the overall feeling of the game. The idea is also very original, as well as the alien thing. It was hard for me to understand the purpose, plus it continued sending me to the beginning even though I was bringing the cubes, idk why. if that means that i lost then i'm not sure why; maybe putting some info would help. I loved the background graphics though.

I think this game has a ton of potential. As soon as I started playing and realized I could stack things on a moving creature I couldn't help but start smiling! reminded me of the big strider things in Morrowind

I also love the art style and design of the characters. The junk blocks look great but didn't read to me as trash. I like how the sapling looks like a half twig half person, and the way they move and jump are super satisfying. The music also adds a nice touch!

I couldn't figure out how to keep my sapling from running out of energy after 3 tries, I think adding a tutorial or doing some more playtesting could help players have a better understanding of what to do. Great work overall!

I agree a longer tutorial would have helped a lot. I really liked the menu music, and think theres an idea with "stacking" the stuff on the moving sapling guys. Also some smoother easing on the camera would have helped the feel a lot, but maybe that was just because of the Web version

greenxenith 2021-10-06 21:42

The music is cute and the sprites are neat, but I wasn't able to play much at like 5FPS :/ The pickup/drop controls also didn't seem to work but that could have been tied to framerate.

Hey!

Cute game, I think the art style is good and the music fit nicely. The goal and theme relation was lost for me but maybe that's my fault. I loved being able to upgrade my guy and having it stack, it's one of my favourite upgrade mechanics.

Thanks, have a good day.

Cool unique game! All the character designs are really charming, and the quirky music is great! It was a little frustrating being constantly sent back to the start, made it feel like more of a grind to get as many saplings as I could after a certain point. But maybe if I had invested in torches it would've been easier. Great work regardless!

quoc 2021-10-09 12:12

Great game. I like the graphics and the music fits very well. Like the others said it was laggy. But still it was fun to play

enderswype 2021-10-09 14:03

nice game :)

wbertrand 2021-10-09 18:50

Art and music created a really nice mood. The mechanics were very original and fit together well. I do think a dedicated early tutorial would be really helpful, I was a bit confused to start.
