I loved the art, particularly the dog's face. Nice, simple little game. I did notice a bug that after completing the second level, it showed the completion time from the first level and not my actual, atrocious time. Those sheep kept sitting in corners!
Good game
Very cute! Since the second level was much bigger than the first, I was unsure at first if I was supposed to herd the sheep in the same direction. A little arrow would have been helpful. I really like this concept!
This game is very cool. I think there might be a little bug where the time at the end of the level doesn't actually match how long you took for the level. It said 5 seconds when I took like 30 seconds. Cool game would love to see it developed further.

Creative game and it was a great idea to add a timer. I think the game would be more enjoyable if the player and the sheep had a higher movement speed.

Greate game here. I like the graphicsand it was fun to play
Charming graphics and good take on the theme. I don't know if the chicken thing in the level end screen was intentional, but I thought it was funny.

I'm not sure if shepherding simulators is an existing genre, or if this is the first game that gets to define it. All in all it worked out well. I'd love to see a more interesting challenge than just going against the clock, but it is a good start. The dog and sheep graphics are hilarious and gets bonus stars!

Thanks all for the responses.
@weine hope I created a new genre. Due to time I couldn't really create extra gameplay objectives, but I can images to have some thing with multiple steps to the exit or something, or portals they always make things more interesting!

Nice game concept. The graphic for dog and sheep looks cute :) I also like how sheep movement looks like. Chasing a lot of sheep get repetitive after the second level. I know that, probably, there is no more mechanic due to time limit, but since you had elements for wall, you could have create a maze from them to make game more challenging and interesting. Also, some mobs that repeal sheep and interrupt the player would be a nice addition. Anyway, cool game and great job!
Nice little game. Congrats on making this for the jam!
I think the levels are a bit too big. If you had kept the game to a single screen, I think you could have created more interesting and rewarding 'puzzles' and eliminated the problem of the player not knowing where the exit is. Also, it was a little frustrating that sheep kept getting stuck in corners. And that I could only effectively herd one sheep at a time because they ran back to their default spots too quickly. This made levels more tedious and gives players less opportunity for skill expression or strategy by being able to 'juggle' herding multiple sheep.
A great effort and neat idea, just could use a bit more polish! Well done :)

I really like the pun in this one
The gameplay was fun and super cute. I love your dog sprite ^^ As many say here, it becomes a bit repetitive after a few levels. However, it is nothing that a few change in level design can't solve.
You could maybe add walls in the stable, danger area where the sheep may get damage etc; a different color of sheep that react differently?
Congratulation though, it's a really fun concept.

That was fun! Great twist on the theme. I only wish the levels were a bit smaller, and that there was a way to get the sheep unstuck from the corners quicker - maybe dashing into them? Nice work overall!

Nice game! As others said, I think it lacks a bit of a "herd" mechanic where you can move more than one sheep at a time. But having only 72 hours makes it hard to add more mechanics. Congrats on finishing it!

Cool idea, small tweaks to movement speeds and the herding range would make it feel smoother. It's nearly impossible to herd multiple sheep at once which restricts the player to only herd a simple sheep to the end then repeat.
Nevertheless, very solid solo entry. Congrats!

I liked that the subject was quite similar to [ours](ldj.am/$261541)
So, the idea was funny but I guess the game gets boring a bit too fast. I think that's because levels are way too big and you have no options but searching for sheeps in very big stable as if you are blind (you cannot see reasonably close to you just because camera bounds). Maybe a minimap could help you understanding better the stable morphology and the sheeps location. Graphics is nice but you lacked animations (which would have been even funnier!) Nice entry dude.
Greetings!
PS. @weine I guess that we already have 2 entries for this brand new genre :smirk:

I taught it was a bear and I have to eat the sheep, then the score text refers to them as chickens and I got even more confused :D Herding animals is a cool concept though. I like that you didn't make it hard.

Nice idea! The only thing I miss is a little sound and also I would prefer the sheep to stay where I left them rather than returning to their starting point, it would give the game some strategy. Overall it's really good!

I wish there was an indication to separate the place the sheep must go and the other areas, a change in the texture would simply be enough. I enjoyed the gameplay. Good job!
Interesting entry! The game does have some problems though, for example regardless of what I do the end screen is always shows the same text, this one: Screenshot_128.png
Also it says "chicken" instead of sheep in that text, oops xD I like the way the sheep shake relentlessly once in a while, gives the impression of shivering in fear, but idk if that was intentional or not. Also wish there was some audio. Nice game nonetheless!
Very nice & fun game! Love the idea with you trying to "guide" the sheeps. Great job!
