Feels like the project was overly ambitious. Seems like there's quite a bit of depth to the game but I had a hard time understanding what was going on. A tutorial to get you started would be appreciated. I did manage to defeat the three jellies and then the scenario restarted but my character seemed to be unable to do anything.
As a side not, feel free to omit the "BackUpThisFolder_ButDontShipItWithYourGame" Unity places in the build directory. I don't really mind it but some people may appreciate the considerably smaller download.

I like the idea of this game, although it is a little bit confusing because I don“t know when my turn starts and what my abilities can do. But being a fan of tactical-RPGs I still enjoyed the fights. I will surely be returning to this game!
First of all, I believe that this game can be enjoyable and I believe you work hard for this project. But because of UI/UX problems I did not understand game at all.
The first problem is lack of tutorial. I just pressed "start" and monsters start moving to characters and hit them, while I even don't have any control. Then a question appears "Do you want to play as?" and suggested answers: Yes/No. If I press "No" than I am just looking how heroes are dying gradually. If I press Yes - a lot of buttons appears and no tutorial is provided of how to use them.
Like, Heroes 3 and 4 are my favorite games, it means that I am familiar with such concept of fights. But the "turns" or "rounds" are not obvious. It is hard to understand how to make a turn and, I don't know why, but monsters are making their moves before I pressed "end turn"
Maybe I just didn't get how to play, but I want to believe that it is not because of my IQ, but because of lack of instructions.
This sounded like a really interesting idea - to play with other peeps through time, however, I'm not sure if I did something wrong but the game did not work very well for me. After filling my name I played as the mage (did I have a choice?), I used my spells without really knowing what they do while my unfortunate fellow heroes died. I was also later slain by the jellies and at that point I could not click anything and I had to restart the game. During the gameplay a developer console popped up with some errors and exceptions - I assume they could have been the reason for my experience?
Anyway, it seems like a nice game with an interesting idea (although I'm still not sure where do the other people come in:), too bad it did not really work for me.

The description was a little confusing, but after I played it I figured out the other "heroes" were I guess given pre set moves done by other players? It definitely lacks a bit of polish and it was a bit confusing but the idea was very cool.

The graphics and such were great, and I'm impressed at the tile system and the combat interactions system. I was a bit confused by the turn-based side of things, as it wasn't immediately obvious when it was my turn and who it was I was controlling. I blame my bad party-members on previous players not doing their moves ;)
As others have said this is a very ambitious concept and you went a long way into making it in the short time allowed, and that is very impressive. Its sad that it wasn't quite all there in the end, but it was still fun and a solid base to continue upon should you want to carry it on post-jam :)

@chartle the other heroes were played thru recorded inputs made by previous players when they played the scenario, so the choices you see them make were the choices other player made during their turn. You are basically going back in time to play with them, but they don't know you exist

Really ambitious project! The gameplay, honestly, isn't that fun. It's confusing at first, and seems a bit buggy.
I like the idea of playing with recorded inputs from other players, but that doesn't seem to be explained at all during gameplay.
The artwork is very nice! I like the general style.
Side note: you need to rate games! There are apparently nine of you! Only 1.75 ratings given? I know y'all know this, I've seen your previous entries...
Also, you seem to have published the debug build of the game. This means it's a larger download, and likely runs slower.
