Interesting take on the theme and game play concepts. But the game is too slow for my liking especially since you have to restart the whole level if even one stray dude makes it to you.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD48 → Descent into tyranny

Interesting tower defense take. Had to sit through some levels for ages because they keep turning red, but got there eventually.
really cool idea and the different abilities are creative. it's fun to see the people react to them. the graphics are cool too.
I haven't played this game yet as of writing this, but I have played Bioluminescence. When I opened this game for the first time, it said I completed the first 8 levels. I know there was 8 levels in the prior game, so I think its because of that.
Ok, played the game. Good entry over all. The pathfinding could use a little work, I ended up having to restart a lot because I accidentally trapped a red guy
@knatt Thanks for pointing out the highscore bug! Both games used the same prefix ("LD48") for persistent storage. It's fixed now.
Very cool idea and good fun to play! As others have said the pathfinding could be improved, but there were some good puzzle moments and I really enjoyed it. Well done!
This game should get more love. Something about the game feel feels so good.
This was pretty fun! I liked the variety in scenarios and mechanics.
Yes, pathfinding could use some love. But i had fun overall. Also i notice a custom engine so that's an upvote!
Played the whole thing. Excellent game. Interesting mechanic, good control design, solid level progression and tutorial, excellent balance, can't say enough good things. This game got right all of the things I always get wrong. 5/5.
This is a solidly fun and unique entry. I played through all the levels, and I appreciate that you put the Sandbox missions at the end as a bit of a reward for solving the previous missions. My only minor complaint would be to put the item counts that are at the top of the screen in mouse-button order so it would be easier to remember which mouse button did what.
Great tower defence game !! Good concept
It was quite fun and unique of a game :) Interesting not quite obvious interpretation of the theme. I enjoyed it
Man I LOVED this one, you got some pretty cool puzzles going on with the levels, I like the addition of the sandbox levels at the end (you better believe I kept closing them in slowly with barricades and killed all of them with a single cannon xD)
This mechanic isn't explained as far as I could tell, but it seems the people kinda have an aggression level based on if they see you murder other dudes (and maybe some other things). It seemed like this was separate from the tyranny level, but let me know if I'm wrong xD It's subtle, but it really adds to the challenge of the puzzles and how you think about solving them
The game could definitely use more polish, but honestly I would play 100 more levels of this as it is. It's seriously awesome and I hope you plan on expanding it!
I couldn't do the maze, this is my greatest failure in life. The game is so good, this and Bioluminescence reminded me of Hidden in plain sight mini games. The mechanics + the randomness make it so entertaining, and the difficulty curve is nice, although I finished the sandbox ones before the middle ones, and... couldn't do the 5 :sob: Maybe the levels could be arranged on a map, and without numbers, to encourage people doing them in whichever order they feel like. Great job :)
Nice game, I would love to see it as a full game with more mechanics and levels. I missed a bit a "total score" as sum of every level score and maybe a shared leaderboard among all the players.
