It seems like a neat concept but its missing quite a lot and it's a bit confusing how everything works.

The idea sounds great and you implement a lot of thing in your game. Too bad you cant finish it in time. I hope next time will be the good one.
It is unfortunate that you ran out of time, the concept of jumping between enemies sounded really interesting. It would've been nice if other parts of the game had been finished, such as taking damage from the robots, so that there's a bit more to the game to play.
Good effort
yeah for sure! thanks for checking it out :)
I was a bit confused at the beginning but whole concept sounds really interesting. I would really like to check this project while it's done, are you planning to continue working on it?
PS: I think that's one of the coolest use of theme so far!
thanks @cninja I'd like to keep working on it I think.
the plan with this is to add a Safe in each level that you can plant an idea into (like inception). this would basically just change the robot's behavior to like ignore you, guard you, enrage, etc. it's a really strange idea and tbh Idk if it would actually 'come together' very well lol, but It's worth a shot I think. I'm just happy I got to work on some new stuff/mechanics :)
@robochase6000 just remember to update your itch.io site, I'll probably check in a while if you did any progress because I got actually interested in your idea. Well, good luck!
Hi there, the game just crashed every time I hit an enemy for some reason. Concept looked nice though, hope you can finish it someday !
huh interesting @beardmage ...thanks for checking it out at least. what kind of computer do you have if you don't mind me asking? there's a few cameras, and some threading involved, but nothing super crazy
@robochase6000 The weirdest part is that I have a very good rig (3070 / 5800x, 32Gb ram), so that should not be an issue in any way..
Interesting concept, i'd be interested in playing it when there's more to play.
@beardmage i uploaded a new build to itch.io that adjusts the pathfinding threading, if you want to try it again to see if it makes a difference. thanks either way!
Sadly it is the same for me. As soon as the second window appears, the game fully freezes.. :<
darn. thanks for checking!
I didn't really grasp the idea behind entering minds at first, but was able to figure that you can switch between different states of game time. It would be interesting to see this developed further, it is an interesting concept! Good luck with your game dev journey, keep it up
Interesting idea, it's too bad you ran out of time.
This looks really interesting! But I can't quite figure out how the different timelines interact with each other? Do my actions in one after the other?
And to the folks above who experienced crashes, did you press Enter after the second window appears? It appears like the game has frozen but its actually waiting for you to pick a timeline to enter.
@amar-ravi there isn't any interaction between the timelines right now. it will probably be something like 'if you die in one timeline, you die in all of them', and probably also a shared inventory
thanks for the tip about pressing enter btw - I forgot that it's paused by default when you switch. maybe that's what you're stuck on @beardmage ... I meant to add some UI here, but hadn't gotten to it yet
yeah i was stuck on the pause on enter a new mind. hitting enter works. would be neat if you could go back between them and things changed somehow. clever idea!
I give you rating for innovation and graphics, cant really much else because it crashes
Wow very clever idea! Unfortunate that you werent able to finish it up but I really like the application of the inception-style gameplay. Definitely very different. Keep working on it, I think this could be super cool if pulled off correctly!
Definitely cool idea. Maybe try to still complete it how you want it
