Only first level worked (second level was empty), but I wanted to play more! I liked the cinematic when it drilled down.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD48 → Drill Deeper

@darkxao Oh no I didn't realize people would be trying it out before the deadline! I did make some fixes since you posted this. Oops!
I hope you get to try it again, but I know you have a lot of other games to try out
Not bad for a first entry! I had fun playing it. It took some getting used to, but I can see potential in this one
It's a nice functional base for an RTS, and fairly ambitious in that you had a nice opening animation and camera movement!
I never stood a chance against the enemies and just mined resources until I could get to the next level
I like the idea of a small scale RTS for a LD game. I think 3 is the perfect number of units to control. Would liked it to have a bit faster pace. The drilling down animation is a nice touch.
nice job! played a few levels, nice style and cool concept, and a fun start to build on! I love the mining animation
Enjoyable game with some clear potential! I appreciated the minimalist controls while still giving the RTS feel. I definitely would've liked some way to move multiple people at the same time - I quickly found myself rapidly clicking through 1 2 3 when I wanted everyone to go somewhere - but that's mostly a QOL change. Nice first entry!
Maybe I would have enjoyed this more if I was more of an RTS person, but I felt like I was doing it wrong. The pace was really slow, and combat wasn't just risky, it was suicidal! Any encounter with enemies at all felt guaranteed to kill off at least one of my guys. Still, making a 3D game in a jam situation is impressive no matter what, so nice work.
I was definitely too ambitious and should leave myself more time for art. All I can do is blocky low-poly models but even that takes time! The difficulty is also probably all wrong.
I felt like the drilling animation was necessary to keep with the theme, since my drill model doesn't really look the part... I am glad it looks okay!
Having you all try my game feels great  I am hooked!
That was pretty good! It definitely needs a bit more polish on QoL, UI and controls, but that's it. The core is really strong, the concept is pretty interesting... It's amazing, this sort of game mechanics are pretty demanding and it really felt well executed. Best of lucks!
I admire your level of ambition for this and I think for how complex it is it was pretty successful. I got killed pretty fast but I can see the depth and I like the game. Upgrading a team is an exciting prospect. I like how you have to weigh getting more resources against potentially running into enemies.
This was a lot of fun! 2 of my guys died pretty quickly but I souped up my last guy to atk 12 and he could take out a full swarm from outside their notice range. He died when I got too cocky though after 8 levels. This could be a really cool full game with a more involved progression to keep you playing
Thanks for bringing your game by my stream to check out Monday night! If you'd like to watch again you can find the highlight at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1005053856
i appreciate you trying to take on doing an rts type of game. this is very challenging for a jam. this game seems to be more of a mix of different concepts with no real focus. in particular, after i made it to the fourth level, i was immediately attacked and destroyed. there was no ramp up to combat. i did like the idea with being able to upgrade your characters, but overall i feel that it was just missing something. still a strong effort. thanks for making it
No map should put you in range of enemies right off the bat, but yes their number and frequency ramps up quick (exponentially). I meant for there to be more variability in enemies' stats as you go but that's all I had time for  Thank you for checking it out!
Nice little mini-RTS, I haven't seen many of this style in a LD jam. Nice clean graphics, clear instructions and challenging gameplay. Good work!
Some really great decisions here which give you great fundamentals. Even with the basic combat mechanics you have here, strategies emerge like having two of the characters set up as an ambush with the third as bait. If the three characters had different abilities, for example, then the possibilities would be huge. The current build is quite basic in terms of the level variety, and the control scheme makes it awkward to play. Being able to move all your characters at once would be great. The current graphics are basic, although 3D is impressive. Lots of potential here, and the idea is a good one.
