Nice concept, and lots of potential for puzzles. The teaching levels (1-5) all seemed kind of the same. Some of the later puzzles were fun. I got stuck on level 9, because even though I counted out the grid, the robot doesn't seem to stick to the visible grid (the difference between two forward steps and three doesn't seem to be a full square).

@testuser thank you for your feedback. Forward command has a bug. It supposed to make robot go forward 1 unit but sometime it goes 0.99 or 1.01 unit. That makes the robot move out of grid sometimes. I will try to fix the that bug or replace it with another mechanic.
Reminds me of the turtle exercises we had in IT class way back when. I only got about eight levels in but it doesn't look like the gameplay evolves much; I would love to see this expanded with, say, obstacles to get around. The presentation is a bit sparse, too.

Oh no! I got "Your browser does not support any of the required graphics API for this content." message on itch.io :(
A lot of potential!
THE GOOD: - Great graphics - Lots of potential - In-game instructions! ++
THE BAD: - No sci-fi music  - No button, robot, movement sound effects - Was looking forward to more complicated puzzles. (Lots of potential here)
This was a very fun puzzle game to play! I enjoyed the programming reference (never do while true haha) and the gameplay was solid. Definitely lots of potential with new levels like others have said and adding music would give it that techy feel even more! Great job!

@zimny11 you can try windows build instead of web version. Windows build has much better graphics and it is only 18 mb to download

Just finished trying it out. Nice work! The only thing, that I agree with the rest, is missing is some music and sound effect :)

I think this game has a lot of potential ! I like the theme of programming, and you use the concept of loop in a very clever way. It took me a while to understand that the commands were loopings (duh) and that I could use it to reach further places. Some of the laters levels are tricky and took me a while to figure out.
The lack of sound effects and the presentation is kind of basic, which is a shame because I think otherwise it's a great game! Good job!
Lots of potential for more complex puzzles given more time, great Jam entry!

This was fun. Alittle short, but nicely done.
It was fun! There were not much animation and no music but it's alright. Good work!

I did play-testing on the game and I already see it with good potential, good job!
I missed the music a little bit or any sounds, and i was for a bit confused because i clicked go right a few times and it didn't. But it was turn right so that was my mistake. I would like to see the robot a bit faster, it felt a bit slow for me at leas. But great puzzle game and take on the theme
Neat programming game. Needs obstacles so you're forced to take more complex paths. I solved every level with one of 3 solutions: go straight there, go diagonally, or go by knights move.
Seems like the robot gets out of sync with the grid sometimes? I'm not sure what caused that though.
Nice Gameplay-Mechanic

Lots of fun. I really like this while-loop puzzle concept! Missing some puzzle solving music, otherwise the game is great

Definitely lots of potential here for more difficult levels and complex gameplay although I appreciate that time was an issue here. I think I would have preferred less of the easy levels which may have freed up some time for some more complex level design for you. Graphics are nice with a subtle glow and although there's no audio feedback (again, assuming time was the restriction here) I would have liked some visual feedback even if it was really small like the commands in the loop flashing when it was being done which would also be nice to see it looping round. Or maybe if the robot lit up the path it took. Possibly a very small celebratory animation when you reach the green target like just a simple spin. Just something small to make the game a little more engaging and dynamic :) Overall, really solid compo entry! Well done!
This is definitely a similar concept to my game lol. But, given that I made a similar game, I have to appreciate how much you did with so little! This game really effectively explores all the possibilities for getting a robot from point A to point B. Of course that idea isn't big enough to make more than the ten levels present in the game, and even then some of them felt a little redundant, but I have to say that overall I didn't feel like the game was too repetitive.
Of course additional mechanics and things would be great--maybe having multiple goals, or obstacles, or anything else, really. But I have to imagine you already know that.
In terms of relatively mundane feedback, I feel like the robot could potentially move faster. Other touches would be nice, like a turning animation, and of course sound and other graphical flair. That's all just somewhat self-evident polish stuff though.
Overall good job!
I could see this game being used to teach kids how to code. Well done.
