thanks for the feedback, ya maybe I should have added a cool down or something
This is a really interesting concept, you should be proud of what you got done! Sometimes the physics were a little wonky (for example, if the loop-clone appeared on top of my character I would go flying), but again, very nice concept!
Oh it's creepy i love the mood ! there are some apparent bugs that could be definitely fixed. The idea is really cool and I liked the puzzles (as far as I got to them) Overall good job :)
This is an excellent start, and I enjoyed checking it out. I loved the atomsphere of the game, and the mechanic, though I've seen it before, was decently well executed. Your sound design was great, though while I appreciated some of the graphics, others of it were bare bones. Also, I feel like for Humor, you could have gone two ways- either tried to deliver on humor in your mechanics, or opt out of the category- your game could have gone either way, but as is I have to rate it on what exists. Excellent start, and I'd love to see more of your work!
Interesting game with a creative twist to it, nice!
As a few people have said, this game has a few bugs. But in defense, makes the game 10x better because of how hilarious it is.
Wow, very cool mechanic! Good level progression, and intuitive puzzles. Fun audio and images. Very fun to play!
It's not a bad idea. You said it yourself that the game isn't finished but the bugs really do interfere with gameplay. The physics are very inconsistent and jumping on top of your clone is oddly difficult. Also if you mess something up you're screwed because there is no restart and you have to close the game...
Very interesting concept! It makes you test out different ways. I screenshot it below.

Please expand on it. It's a really fun puzzle idea!
@marbles thanks so much! I will definitely expand on it, I redesigned the the recording to be more realistic and less buggy and will be uploading a version with bug fixes very soon!
Dark mood sensing as the water droplets hit the ground. Unfortunately I got stuck at level 3 once without ability to reset the level, so some bugs / functionality is not there, but overall idea and execution is still good nontheless. Good job!
This was a really neat concept - wish you'd had the time to get it exactly where you wanted it! Like @mikoziq I also got stuck on the third level (my character never left the button, despite recording it.)
The audio and mood were really good, and while the graphics were simple they did their job well. Love the way you hold keys over your head!
@morrilet and @mikoziq I am working on a post jam build now and will notify everyone when it is ready! thanks so much for the feedback! Really appreciate it!
This is a really great concept! I really wish there was a way to reset the level, as if you make a mistake, you must close the game and try again from the beginning.
I also think that these "bugs" actually add a lot to the game mechanics :) You know what they say, "It's not a bug, it's a feature"! The mood in the game is also very cool.
I liked this game! I got to level 4, but I didn't see a door so I tried the one I came in, and it reset the game. Is that the end of the game, or is it a bug? Also, when I was next to a clone and a wall and the clone pushed me into the wall and then I jumped, I went waay up. I don't know if that's a bug or not. Anyway, I enjoyed it a lot. Great job!
Fun puzzle platformer with a spoopy vibe! The art and animation look great and I really like that the record loop is limited so you have to manage it carefully! Hope you keep working on it!
Great game, mostly done alone. The idea of recording several loops and using them later is quite interesting. Something was missing to reset the loops. congratulations
@zimny11 haha ya, that'll happen with such garbage code hah
@fractal-flower-girl yes you went through the right door! Glad that someone finished the game!
@gregoryblomquist thanks so much, this was actually my first time doing pixel art legitimately! I am working on a post jam build as well!
@ericbolseiro thanks so much! Im glad you like the mechanic! btw the game was actually developed completely alone ;) and ya i am working on these types if features! Thanks for playing!
Make this a full game already its too fun XD
Fun game. Wish it had more levels, it stopped exactly as I hooked up on the premise :) You can spice up gameplay with some limitation. As example, in some level you can loop only two times. So that player cannot spam loops to make it through.
@deinvented thanks! for sure, I'm working on a post jam build now, where there can actually only be one recording on screen at a time, removing the recording time limitation
Cool concept, the physics could use a little work though. Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much @sunblast, totally agree, not sure if you played the latest build or not but I have released a post jam build with a bit of a different feel and mechanic! Is there anything specific you thought I could improve on for the physics?
@johnwayyyne I toke a look and I think it was the initial build that I played. I found some of the physics with clone to feel a little weird, for example if record a clone on top of the moveable box in level 3 (I think it was?) the clone just falls into the box. I also managed to get stuck in the wall once or twice.
That being said I like how forgiving jumping can be, like if you nearly make the ledge the game helps you a little to make it up, small details like these adds a lot of smoothness to the game!
@sunblast thanks so much for elaborating! ya, I couldn't figure out a good solution around that bug, it's a weird one.
