Nice graphics !

This is the first game in my rating session that I'm not bored with. Nice prefabs, and cool mechanism, the upgradings, the rotation, great work! Sometimes to pick up a hamster is hard. The "light" in on them, but they don't get picked up.

Impressive

An unexpected ending with charming music

Friendly control and cute hamsters :)

Well done guys!

Hey there, fellow hamster game maker!

I loved how relaxing the game is, it's rare to find a city builder in a game jam, and the looping world is a nice spin (pun intended) on the theme  The tutorial makes it easy to understand and the gameplay is very intuitive. Great job overall, only the UI looks a bit wonky!

Btw, we also made a hamster game with @baylej if you want to check it out :hamster:

Cool game.

Ring looks much smaller than it actually is. It took me some time to complete first full rotation looking for hamsters to power plant.

Art looks awesome. Hamsters look like real things with those animations :) Some background music would add a lot.

Let the Age of Hamsters begin!

Cheers!

The end is so ... weird xD I like the hamster management, I didn't expect that, and it was funny to discover it. I don't like so much that we have to build some hamster wheels to increase our speed rotation in the world. It is so fast at the end, you better don't eat before playing, lol ! This a prototype, but for sure there is a way to make a good casual game with this ! Congrats for what you've done.

One of the few jam games I went through to the end. An original idea, nice visualization. And, Wow, the ending is unexpected))

HAhah WTF that ending!?! It's AMAZING! I love this game :D Is that song in the end from one of Nolan's movies? Anyway it's epic :D

This game was so fun. One of the best I've played so far. It fit the theme very well and kept me entertained the whole way through. I thought the process of picking the hamsters up and placing them in their required spots was entertaining and I could have kept going. I felt as though I was building a community of hamsters. It was a very pleasant experience. Once that was complete and the ring began to roll, I then realized that I was preparing these hamsters for something the whole time and I was excited to see what it was. I was not disappointed. I would have liked to see more rolling mechanics to make that challenging. Something along the lines of dodging obstacles. Another note is there was quite a few overlaps of the environment that didn't seem too fluid. There were a few moments when you went through the environment. Overall, this was fantastic and I would definitely love to see where you could take this!

Heya! Thanks for submitting your game to my stream [twitch.tv/drjavasaurus)[www.twitch.tv/drjavasaurus]. I had a great time playing it. Very original take, the cursor felt really nice and ... god do I even need to write this, the hamsters are friggin cute! Everything fits together nicely and your game is really consistent. It's relaxing, hope to see more of it. Well done and thank you for the fun gameplay !

Best hamster simulator this compo so far!

bauke-regnerus 2020-10-08 19:06

Best ending in gaming history!

idan-rooze 2020-10-08 19:17

This is some next-level postmodern piece right there. Good job on the polished experience and bold statement. Congratulations! The core mechanic was pretty fun, and those sneaky hamsters are hard to catch. I loved that rolling the wheel was tied to a resource, very neat. Congratulations on the great entry!

honest-dan 2020-10-09 22:17

That ending!

EPIC.

Good work Lucky! I quite enjoyed the hamster mechanics and how the game became less of a grind the more you levelled up - felt rewarding.

gamesplusjames 2020-10-10 20:50

This was amazing! That ending was so unexpected and really made me smile! I enjoyed the core hamster placing mechanics and I loved the artstyle for the game. Great stuff as always @luckyfeathers :)

This is an all round great game. Once I understood the basics I enjoyed playing with the cute critters. It would be cool to see if you take this anywhere after the jam.

Nicely done, too bad there weren't more missions or targets in between the start and finish... But it looks very nice!
