Nice game. Interesting mechanic while maintaining a live value between levels. Although there is not much time to think about how to pass the level. Maybe a short countdown with level paused, at the beginning of each level so that you could look around, would be nice.
I made it to level 8 with a score of 300. I guess that's the high score. Anyway, I like this game; the simple graphics are appealing in a way.
One way to improve this game is to allow the player to restart on the same level. I also like @zimny11's suggestion of having an option to pause. Anyway, thanks for the experience.

Grats on your submission! I'd agree with the above two comments about wanting to survey the level for a bit before starting (maybe life doesn't drain until you start moving?).
I feel like I want the player to move a bit more quickly and fluidly (rather than tapping to animate one square at a time) given the time pressure too!
The amount of life for gaining a health packet seemed kind of low. It was difficult to go out of my way to grab health packets when they only provided you with one additional step. In addition, it might be nice if a majority of the coins were not red herrings. The completionist in me wants to be able to get them all. Although I guess it could be a metaphor for life. That you can't have both health and money.
Pretty hardcore to restart from beginning but I kinda like it. Makes me think harder on the second try :)
Well done!

I enjoyed a lot of things about this game!! The music was particularly good - the game theme and ending theme were both probably the best tracks I've heard all jam. The concept and the levels are good, I always like the idea of making decisions that are somehow trade-offs, and this game has an excellent "meaningful decisions per second" rate. I *also* like the mechanic of life carrying over between levels (should I grab points now, or save my life for a more lucrative stage I know is coming later?)
I ended with a score of 800, which I'm pretty proud of ^^
Great submission, especially the music!!!
It's a nice mechanic. You don't know whether to stock up on health or go for money.
This is a nice game! The controls are smooth, the graphics are alright for this type of game and the music is nice. Good job!
This is a neat puzzler that could benefit a lot from just a little juice, but I totally understand that compo is hard and there's just not enough time! I played it last night and thought it was impossible to get past level 4 but this afternoon I tried again and realized that the health persists between levels, and did eventually manage to beat it with 100 points.

Having the audio play consistently rather than restarting on game start etc would have been nice. More life from each health tile would have gone a long way. In-game screen to explain the tiles always helpful. Having the loss of life game over and end of game screen being different would help to differentiate the two so you knew you got to the games end rather than game over.
Interesting concept you have there, especially for a puzzle game where the life carries over.

A neat game with an interesting mechanic, and really well implemented given the time available. I do feel it's a little unbalanced; the health moves down too quickly and the health increases too little to make it worth going after anything but the shortest path. As some others have said, either increasing player speed or only reducing the health when the player starts moving would make it a bit easier to play through. Really good submission!
