Not sure if the subject of the experiment was the blob or me, the player! lol. Would have liked some more positive reinforcement (like any good test subject) to make the game more fun because there isn't much to do otherwise. The sequence of lights didn't seem to matter. Remember Simon Says? What if you had to press the lights in the right sequence too in order to be not penalized. Would have made the player work a bit to remember the right order.

I like the big, green, wobbly test subject and how it changes based on its "health". There might not be a lot of interaction but the game is nice to look at and play around with for a short while. Good job ^^
Very fun - maybe a little too slow at start. I am really impressed by your project. Usualy I don't like click games, but yours is fun. The main gameplay fits with the theme and I liked how you manage buttons. It is a fun little game for a while - a good casual game. Well done ++

Quick reminder to get more players: Use a thumbnail for your game. Otherwise your game is presented with this grey box. Some great Games are not played because of a missing thumbnail ... You can still change it by editing your submission page :)

@geckoo1337 I think that I didn't work on my entry as deep nor long than you must have done on yours, each LD *I'm* impressed by your entries that make me think I have yet a lot of things to learn before I can reach at least the half of your skills - so your comment is a positive surprise for me  (thank you for that, really ) @pilarius Oh my… :scream: I always use the cover image upload, but this time, I don't know why I used the post upload image link instead - I guess I was very tired on the submit night, and while there is no obvious indication on the entry main page when there is no cover image, I didn't see this error, at all. Thank you to mentionned it, this is fixed now. *(I had one job, *one* job -_- … XD)*

I wanted to see the creature grow or so and make you start to question if you should keep it alive, but interesting concept. The ramp up is a bit slow. For some reason the buttons popping in starts to remind me of popcorn. Keep up the good work!

What a fun little game! Even without any music or ambient sounds (which I feel like might fit the game better than music, maybe a nice laboratory hum?), the audio is really, really satisfying, as is the visuals, except: - Some of the buttons are really neon and it hurts my eyes. I like the pastel buttons more. Might be a me thing since I suspect I'm autistic, but that means I know I'm not the only one sensitive to overly saturated colors. - I was surprised by the button on the left being a button, I thought it was another meter. I keep forgetting to click it because its 'lit up' color is the same as the other buttons' 'unlit color'. - I wish there were a visual indicator of the secret orange buttons so they wouldn't be so surprising when they light up; otherwise, it just kinda feels like a jerk move to suddenly have extra buttons with no type of subtle warning (kinda like how I thought the one on the left was a meter, but surprise! button!). I understand that's probably not the intention since this is a jam game and all the other buttons are very polished.
Gameplay wise: - It's slow to start. I was kinda bored and only stayed because of the satisfying audio and desire to see how long it took to get chaotic. - The main challenge I had was my mouse's tendency to double-click sometimes, which I think might have done me in when it finally got hectic. I managed to make it to a score of 313 on the first run, and that included double-clicking and waiting to see how long I could go without clicking a button before it started to die. I think it could do with either a time-related difficulty ramp (speed up the pace of the game or shorten the timer for how long buttons can go unclicked), or the Simon Says type gameplay that was suggested (in which case I'd even out the randomness and difficulty increase to better fit peoples' ability to memorize patterns, it's hard to memorize something when it all shows up at once).
Overall great job! I'd love to see if you touch it up post-jam! :blue_heart:
(Also, this is probably just a me thing, but it would be great if "Test subject #x" was centered above the Thing)

While I usually like my choice-less games with a little bit more of an unfolding story, and this one could've used that too, it does have some polish going for it. (Or maybe I just like buttons to have functions :stuck_out_tongue:)
To be completely honest, I was a bit surprised when I scrolled back up and this turned out to be a jam game, not a compo one. It feels more that scale to me (not that this is _always_ a bad thing).
I like that the punishment for missing a button is smaller when you just missed it!
The long grey button is pretty sneaky, it tends to be forgotten even if you know it is there. Someone else commented about the 'secret orange buttons', so I had to keep playing to see if that lead somewhere. To be honest they're hard to miss once they pop up. I can't hold on all _that_ much longer afterwards though.
Maybe you could make it so that the health slowly creeps up again the longer it goes alright?

I had one job. And I failed to do it. I don't know why they gave me the job anyway, I have the attention span of a mongoose. And the department of testing could automate this job if they wanted. What is wrong with those guys anyway? These buttons do nothing. I'm going to be sending some stern feedback to the department heads. Or maybe I shouldn't, pays the bills I guess.

This game is okay, but I would have liked if there was more to the game idea. A story could have been fun, or perhaps some more interesting gameplay.
Hi! Nice game! I like the "simon says" mechanic but I miss some background music loop to keep the atmosfere and some more animations for the "experiment" thing. But great job!! Congratulations :D

A Simon game? But without the order to remember. It's adapted to the theme but it would be nice to see some changes that would happen on the plant creature. (Perhaps it happen much later and I was not able to see it ?) And more different subjects to keep alive. But the idea is interesting.

Nice intuitive interface, I didn't need to read the instructions. The left button is mean! Nice little fun game. I think the subject looks "cute" and want to know if they'll be available as pets. Naming the buttons is a great opportunity for humor (big red could be "H.U.G.") and doesn't take a lot of time. A way to regain life if you get a lot of button clicks in a row would be nice incentive to try harder.
Started a little slow, but got pretty challenging after the third minute. My first subject survived for 250 seconds, mostly because of the center red button. Not sure if it's a part of the design, but it's kinda hard to tell if it's on or not (especially if it turned on together with some other button). Also, the sounds effects are oddly satisfying. Well done on this one :)

This feels like a Simon game, but without the additional challenge of having to memorize! I don't think it's a bad concept, I personally like it when games are kept simple and the goal is immediately clear. I just think a bit more challenge would be nice -- for example, if some special tasks came up every once in a while. This way, it wouldn't be "the same, just faster". The game looks and feels quite polished already though! Nice entry!

It takes experience and skills to build a good career. And the resume plays a very important role. After I contacted [CareersBooster](https://uk.careersbooster.com/) to write my CV, I began to receive more offers from employers. Before that, I was unemployed for a long time. Apparently my old resume was terrible and I could not recommend myself.

Guys, doe anybody know where it would he possible to find information about job in design sphere? I really want to find information about it.
2022-08-15 20:46
In fact, it is difficult to find what you need at the current time, so I know what you mean. By the way, I also lost my job during this pandemic, but I was lucky enough to find a new one. Once I was browsing the Internet for no particular purpose and found [design job board](https://app.uxcel.com/jobs]) which listed vacancies in the design sphere. I think it will make a profit to you.

Finding a job is not so hard if you know where to search. That is why [online jobs](https://www.remotehub.com/jobs) is the place that I really like. I prefer this great platform, because there is a possibility to find a good vacancy. I recommend this option because you can always find a plenty of great vacancies according to your preferences.

Finding what you always need in life is not as easy as it seems, unfortunately. But still, it's generally more than possible and I think it's worth doing and it's worth trying to find the job that suits you.

Consider that by starting and proposing for collaborations even short in time or trials you can meanwhile create a showcase, expand knowledge in the field of interest and create your own network of action. Of course it's not easy but try [https://layboard.in/vacancies/jobs-in-uae/jobs-in-dubai/speciality/photographer](https://layboard.in/vacancies/jobs-in-uae/jobs-in-dubai/speciality/photographer) if you want to be photographer it is not certain that you will find something but at least you start to put yourself out there.. then it depends a lot on the profile you are also looking for.
