Spaceship! I like it already.

Actually, the art for this game is pretty nice. And one of the great things about spaceships (of which there are many) is that they can be quite modular. I never quite managed to achieve warp (those homing bombs were too much for me) but I did manage to make some pretty looking ships.

It would have been cool for the different parts to give the ship different abilities, but that may have been beyond the scope of what was possible in the course of a weekend.

Overall, good job. Thanks for sharing your game.

Game have a great potential! Nice idea, but the goal of game don't clean for me

Well done! Ended up with a spaceship so big I couldn't turn anymore. I could have warped, but the spaceship kept getting bigger, it was awesome! ...until I ran into some mines. The way the spaceship parts combined was really good the bigger the ship got the cooler it looked!

Combining ship pieces is super fun! Though I wish the whole ship was able to pick up pieces rather than just the main cabin. The push and pull of growing and shrinking provides lots of great tension.

@thepelranthean There are a few special ability boosts for each type of part but UI feedback was not our strong suit for this one, lol. I'm glad you enjoyed it!.

I love building spaceships so I immediately liked this idea! It was fun to avoid those mines, but before I got my engines it was sad to slowly be overtaken by those mines. Oh, that poor exploded space-survivor. One thing I'd recommend would be a star field to give the player some feedback on how they're moving. At one point I wasn't sure if I was still moving or not! Overall this was fun, and the ship piece art is a nice touch

Nice game, very nice graphics! I love the ship combinations. The controls seemed a bit unresponsive at times, and the background could use some particles to give a sense of movement. Nice job overall!

not found? D:

I wasn't sure if I'm doing something wrong, but when I click 'Warp' it says I warped, but the game carries on and I can't pick anything up?

wreel 2019-10-10 17:38

@porocyonak the HTML 5 link didn't work for you?

wreel 2019-10-10 17:38

@maytch nothing wrong. You won the level but we didn't have enough time to do an awesome transition ;_;

Not bad graphics. The view of the ship is too small. Lack of navigation. Thanks to this game, I once again remembered that space is boring and lonely.

Great gameplay and innovative idea. The graphics looks good, but the background picture/graphics can be improved. a pointes towards the next object would be an great update too.

This is a cool concept, it'd been awesome if the ship was less maneuverable when you have an assymetric ship for example. Drawings are beautiful, you did a great job ! Congrats on your game! :D

I love the art so clean and smooth, pleasant to the eyes. Nice effect on the engines! I liked that

I think some background asteroids, or otherwise stationary object, would help see the movement, because otherwise when flying forward and nothing on screen, with a fixed space background it visually seems as if you are not moving at all.

Rotating the ship should probably be around it's center, looks awkward that the axis appears to be at the cockpit

Explosion animation seems too slow, maybe a faster frame rate? adding asteroid to collide with would have added a lot here too!

I like the way you made things float, it looks very natural. I really like this king of games, would totally love to play it again if it ever got expanded.

Great idea and good execution, well done!
