Love the effect used when going to the next level. If you're bad the level audio sure does get painful
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD45 → i don't know what to feel anymore

Very quickly annoyed the other people in the room trying this game out. Maybe if the audio was something less ringy it would be better. Simple game, kind of fun just seeing what emojis will appear next. Don't worry about this game not being much of a game, mine is kind of like that too. Good job.
I really like audio art pieces, so no problems there! :smile_cat: Sidenote: reading through your source, I didn't realize webaudio was so powerful, definitely want to check this out. Thanks!
At first I was "So I just keep clicking until my pc explodes?" but then I read the instructions hahahaha Honestly when I was trying to come up with an idea of what to do for this LudumDare I thought of something quite similar. Interesting concept, good job.
Very lovely idea and I would play for more time if the game has more content. For solving the audio issue, I recommend Patatap or MikuTap (website app). The random music note effect from these apps fits perfect for the idea of this game.
Music is a bit cacophonic to be honest.
I took the game as an interactive audio piece, and while I found the visuals and the audio as an interesting experiment, it very quickly became loud and grating for it to be enjoyable. Searching for the mine itself was entertaining at the beginning, but with a lack of ending or progression, felt repetitive very quickly.
It's a cool experiment, and I applaud for trying something new. I do think it's a little too minimalistic, and the one that that makes it interesting (the audio) wasn't very strong, either.
Oh, and hello, fellow New Yorker! I...don't live anywhere near NYC, but hey!
I adore the creativity of this game, taking the most basic tools and turning them into something really special. The gameplay is really satisfying too, when the screen fills with black or white and reveals the next round. I enjoyed it as a sort of casual relaxing game, but it might be nice to add more gamelike elements like bonus sounds when you find the goal in less than 5 clicks or something like that.
Nice, I like experimental pieces like this. Like you mentioned, the audio can get a little noisy (my cat was VERY alarmed), but overall I liked the idea. I could see this turning into a cool interactive art exhibit.
Extra innovation half star for synthesizing audio on the fly.
Biggest complaints about my game have been the sound, I need to do something better next time. I'm not sure this is it though :D
my emojis are missing :confounded: Untitled.png
I didn't realize about the hearts or even the goal when I played at Babycastles so I didn't realize it's a game right in the dead center of the game alignment chart
Cute and original concept, I enjoyed playing this for awhile. Levels do not seem to get any more difficult though. I'd like to see this developed so that there is some kind of progress. The audio started lagging with buffer underrun at some point.
