Haha, i love the voicesque sfx for the talking :laughing: Seems pretty difficult to survice, perhaps that's supposed to mimic reality! Graphics are consistent and I like the little musical theme :thumbsup:

@kazatan Thanks so much for playing, Although not my first jam its the first time I have made the music myself, so I'm glad you like it. I didn't really take the time to balance the difficulty, but rather I threw together the hunger mechanic in the last few minutes to make it feel more gamey. I actually increased the difficulty by about 30% immediately before clicking publish.
@lekiy Yea, I know what you mean. I reduced the difficultly on mine, thinking that i've been playing it for 2 days - probably going to be good at it by then! Still a lot of people find it difficult! Ludum Dare is like a full on user testing session! :laughing:
Hello Lekiy! The graphics are great! I would suggjest adding something for the controls in game. I did not read the whole post, I just downloaded the game. I had to hit random buttons to try and find the controls. Maybe adding a billboard in game with the controls listed on it? Sound effects are great! The little talking sounds kind of annoying in a good way like if someone keeps asking you for money. I also recommend maybe adding a visual difference between who your character is. Sometimes I lost my character in the crow of people. You could try making him look homeless or wear some sort of clothes that might represent a "lower class". Had a ton of fun with a simple game. Nice work. Keep it up!
Good concept and fun to play. I liked reading the different responses. Music and sound effects are playful and fun.
Nice idea for the theme, The Music and SFX are great and the overall idea for the game is fun, but the controls are a bit weird. It was a great game though, Nice work!
@game-coder28 can you define better what you thought was weird about the controls?
@lekiy basically they are just hard to get used to, like using x in a menu to select instead of clicking or pressing Return and if you didn't read the controls it would be very hard to find.
Love the concept and presentation of this game. Understandably, it's in a prototype stage as written above, but the gameplay loop did feel a bit too simplistic. I would be really interested to see what sort of other stats/events could be added if it went beyond the prototype stage!
It was difficult to get used to 'X' as the interact key, but I love the aesthetic and it ties in well with the theme. Nice job!

I like the overall style of the game - with SFX, background music and beautiful pixel graphics. Nice work! Controls do feel a bit slow sometimes. I'd like to see what else you can add to the game later
I like the assets, but the gmaplay and controls have to be improved a lot I think. I undersant this is still in a prototype stage, tho.
Anyway it may be something really nice to play I think so good luck if you plan on working on the game after tje LD's end ;)
Nice graphics and sounds. I loved the adaptation of the theme. For the first time I thought the run animation is punch someone, so I tried to punch those who didn't give me money. That would have been a good feature in the game :) I had fun playing it.
The game's graphics and music were nice. The key bindings could have been better than X and Z. There should be some animations when the player eats something because you have to see the health bar. At first I thought there should some other key for this but then i noticed the health bar. The game is really hard and can be made a little easy but its your preference. The dialogues of the people were also quite well written. The movement and other mechanisms of the game were also nice. Overall, a nice game. I liked it.
