The player feedback lacks a bit, as it all just feels "too floaty". I like the pixel art. It's simple, but lovely. The music however... I had to turn it off. It was too screechy and powerful to fit your story. But there's potential here!

Kind of like Flappy God Of War

Anyone playing on PC finding space is autoscrolling the browser below the game window, left mouse button does the same as space, so you can play that way

music could be better

Really cool game. In the beginning the controls felt a bit weird. But after getting used to it, it was a lot of fun! After playing many rounds I started to really appreciate the fact that you developed multiple difficulty modes. This gave you a real feeling of progress and kept the game challenging. It was great feeling when finally the hell dificulty wasn't impossible anymore :) The music was cool and relaxed. Although I think it didn't fit the mood that well, especially when playing the hell level. The graphics are amazing. I have huge respect for everyone that can draw and animate such amazing pixelart. For me this has always been one of the most difficult art styles to create. It is really impressive, how much you could create in only 48h. I worked together with a friend while having 72h to complete our game. Still it got really stressfull towards the end :) Great Job meskaline, you can be proud of this game. We would be really happy if you tried out our game and told us what you think :)

Overall, pretty great for a game made in only 48 hours by yourself! Most people wouldn't be able to do this! Once you get into the flow of the game, it's pretty mesmerizing. (Assuming the audio has been muted, because the audio will chase people away from the game sadly) Some visual elements aren't very clear. For example I thought the sword was a cape (because he could kinda fly with his jumps XD so I just thought he was like a kid icarus) and it wasn't very clear that I could cut the spikes with a sword(in no other game have I played in which you could cut spikes with a sword, also the game didn't convey it to me) or that the vine thingies were souls you had to cut to get HP back. I didn't know that the top meter was the HP bar O.O My favorite graphic was the soul of the daughter. She was really pretty and I wish I could've played as her! XD

It's a good time killer, I thin that you could improve your background music to a more procedural loop to avoid repetition, improve the juiceness of freeing the souls by adding some sfx like a chains shacking and an echoing ghost scream, also some ambience sound like echoing whispers, some kind of echoing rocks bouncing, maybe some sand/earth/dust sliding and improve add some vfx to the chains being cut by the sword.

Interesting idea. It took a while before I figured out I should be flying more than actually running. After that it is quite nice to play.

It is nice that you see the daughter becoming more "solid" when you get more life. It gives the story more depth.

It's a cool Idea, simple mechanics

But I ave some ideas for you to improve - The BGM as it is right now it gets annoying pretty fast, make it subtle and something that when you loop you can still listen to it for a long time; - The Jump mechanic: If you are able to fly, you should make something that shows the player that he can do that. - The Jump mechanic: There is a bug when you hold space, you hold space and it does a "dit diiiiiiiiiiiiiit" on the space, (Try holding space and you will understand) - Make something to tell the player how close (or how far) he is from saving his daughter, maybe making her model move closer and closer as you run through the void.

Try improving the game in those areas, I'm sure that this can be a good mobile ^^

Congratulations on the game :D

Overall, a nice experience. I didn't care for the background music, but I did like the art. I had a really hard time judging distance to other platforms and had to jump way more than I probably should have because I couldn't tell if I'd be able to land on the next platform. Still, it's an enjoyable game and a good concept.

Nice little runner. The graphics are nice and the game plays quite smoothly! Jumping is unexpectedly floaty (you can even fly), but it works. As others have mentioned, the music is a bit monotonous. I didn't give it annoying, though.

It works really well on mobile! Overall, good job on the game :)

Nothing wrong with flying. Makes perfect sense if you're a spirit!

It caught me off-guard when I beat the game and I didn't even see the last screen because it popped up right as I was slashing, so I ended up skipping right past it.

Pretty fun. Would be interesting to see a sped-up version.
