Despite it being unfinished it was a pretty engaging game. I liked how I could grab his hat and throw it in the bin and he'd get pissed at me.

I do really love the art style. And the weird walking things out in the distance. Really gives it a cool mood. I'm getting good vibes from what's done, it's a shame you ran into so many issues! As they say though, ain't that the way.
@chaitae Thanks so much!
@wheffle Thank you! I spent a ridiculous amount of time on those walkers (they're called Guri, BTW).
The best laid plans of mice and men...
Really liked the art style of the game. Had some fun playing it Well done :smiley:
Very fun game! The art style is really neat and adds a lot to the gameplay. I like the quirkiness of the game with hat man and throwing the hat. I'm hoping that you will pick this up sometime in the future and add more.
@teelin Thanks! I only wish I didn't have so much trouble with the engine...
@remicraft Thanks for the feedback! I would certainly like to pick this up again (in a different engine most likely), but I've got to finish my other Ludum Dare remaster first! :smile:
Game looks great, excellent work!
Interesting game. I liked the graphics style and there's definitely potential for a solid game here. My curiosity was piqued by the giant pair of legs wandering around outside -- "Guri" you say?
@predominant @digital-bacon Thanks for the feedback! The Guri were highly inspired by the [landstriders from The Dark Crystal](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0073/2452/products/JustinLaRoccaHansen_C4C11_LoveOnALandStrider_138d45a1-88c6-4039-ba42-53ff7ed4f0b8_1024x1024.jpg?v=1510873801)
Is there any way you can upload a MacOS or WebGL build?
@anubhav-kashyap As soon as I can get my hands on a Mac I'll put up a build. Sadly UPBGE doesn't support WebGL...
The art style is great, and the music is nice and relaxing.
I also really enjoyed the legs in the background.
Nice job!
@samusoidal I have a Macbook, so I can make a MacOS build for you, but you'll need to tell me how :thumbsup: (That is, if you want)
@anubhav-kashyap Unfortunately I wasn't able to build it on Mac. Apple's been deprecating stuff left and right and it doesn't seem to want to work. I'm really sorry, I wish I could have done it!
@samusoidal That’s sad :( I really wanted to play this.
I think I just didn´t get it. When ever i clicked the overseer, I was able to spawn like 20 hats. I fell from the plane whilst running away since there were no items to sort for half a minute or so. I really like the art and also the music but I simply didn´t get the sense.
I really love the artstyle :D The Mood is awesome. A little bit scary and surreal
@major-sauce Looks like you found a bug! Sadly I wasn't able to finish much of a game, but I'm glad you liked the art and music anyway!
@kappinski Thanks so much!
@samusoidal I finally got a chance to play your game!
Great art style, as others have said. Also, good work with the music. These two aspects of a game are really important for the mood of the game, and you nailed it. I cannot leave much criticism since I know that this is unfinished, but it has a lot of potential if completed. :thumbsup:
Also, I really enjoyed the ability to throw the hat and the walking legs outside!
**TL;DR**
Good game, had fun playing it and it had great art and audio.
P.S. Hope you had fun developing in the third dimension!
@anubhav-kashyap I'm glad you got to play it! I'm actually about to play yours right now :smile: Thanks for your feedback!
Sounds and looks fun, but crashes at startup for me though :(
@erikkire What OS and graphics card are you using?
@samusoidal Windows, Nvidia GTX 1070
@erikkire In that case I don't know what would be causing it to crash. The engine I chose was really terrible and debugging is near impossible. You could try installing Python 3.5, but that's about all I can help you with. I'm really sorry, I wish you could have gotten to play it!
Graphically is one of the best games ive seen on the jam, as you say on the description, the game is unfinished, and I would really like to know whats going on the game, I see myself putting things in two boxes with a man seeing me, and when I go off the fence I alwais fall off the map and just stand falling. Despite that, it has a very well finished graphical part. Keep on it!!
Thanks so much @foxisxiii!
Even though it was unfinished you can see the potential here and I enjoyed just being in the world looking at the great art. I hope you continue to work on it :smile:
The art looks great, unique and makes me want to incorporate it into a game of my own. The reaction to stealing the hat was funny.
interesting
I tried stabbing the overseer with the screwdriver but it didn't worked... Awesome art but gameplay needs a bit of depth. Cheers!
@wisstopher @leave @hellsquirrel @jonathan-lorenz Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I like the surreal vibe I'm getting from this game, from the hand-drawn style of the art, to the vast empty void, to the strange walking legs outside the fence. I feel like I'm in some kind of dream, and I'm left wondering what everything means. Who are the people in the photos? What are the giant walking legs outside? Who does the person in the hat represent? (And why do I enjoy tossing his hat into the wind so much?)
I don't want to criticize too harshly given that you admit this is unfinished, but I will say that it's really not clear what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm sorting objects and then deleting them, but... why?
@cbdevilla Thanks so much for playing! Unfortunately I wasn't able to implement the slightest sliver of the theme, so the gameplay itself is really pointless. I'm glad you liked the art though, it was my first attempt at 3D.
