I really liked this game! It fit the theme well, and was fun to play with friends. When I played it against the AI it was difficult to tell where it had moved since it jumped back to my turn so fast. Nice idea and great job!

Glad you played with friends and liked it @fractalsunrise! The AI was an afterthought, somewhat, because we thought most people wouldn't be able to play with someone. If we keep working on this later, we will put some animations so it's more obvious what the AI is doing. Thanks for the feedback!

The hexagonal tiles is thing that is my nightmare. I want to make strategy but I can't do it so well. How you do this tiles? My game rate is 4. I couldn't win with bot but it is rather my low skills than your fault. Graphics are awesome and mechanichs are good too. I wish you make more good games like this. Keep going, GL!

Hey @skyrex thanks for playing! Glad you liked it!
About the hexagonal tiles, the tiles were made in blender (Eduardo can explain if your question is about this, I don't know about 3d modelling), and what helped us with creating the grid was this https://www.redblobgames.com/grids/hexagons/. We only needed the image at the side of "Size and spacing", that was enough for us to figure how to organize a tile grid of any size if that's what you are asking. But the article is super complete if you need to do more. We will release the source code too after cleaning the assets a little, it's totally spaghetti code, though.

Played "Against the bot". The turns are a bit confusing. A couple of times lost while the CPU player was stranded on a sole tile, but I for some reason had to move 4 times in a row... Nice touch that different tiles have different properties. Like mountains are impassible and sand taking two steps to break.

Hey @hilvon, take a look at the tutorial in the menu, it explains what the different tiles do. I think that the 4 moves were because you walked into the light green (plains) tiles! You can walk for free if you go to them. Now the blue/purple ones end your turn immediately.
And it's okay if he was stranded as his last move in the turn. You lose only if you have moves to do in the turn but nowhere to go. But honestly, I think it's quite confusing, we should probably end the game as soon as any player get stranded, yeah.
Thanks for playing!
Would like to see the CPU's turn a little slower so I could generate some strategy instead of feeling like I'm reevaluating the map each turn, otherwise this looks like the great foundation of a fun game!

I like the map and the gamplay. Idea of game is nice. The cpu is playing sooo fastXD It feels like lag. Add some delay. Like it good job.
Fun concept, guys! I liked the idea of the turn-based friends challenge. Unfortunately, I didn't have anyone around to play with so I took the AI for a spin. As others have already pointed out, it was a bit confusing to see when/how the AI moved. But, I had fun playing and beat the AI :) Great work!
@grahhhhhhhhh @swini @fussenkuh thanks for the great feedback! Unfortunately during the JAM we couldn't made in time with the animations to make a IA movement that is visible by naked eye. We aspire to give a little bit of polish to this prototype in the future. I pretty much glad that you guys liked the main concept of the gameplay and appreciate the time that you guys expend to play our little creation. Thanks for playing!
You should improve your camera movement. It jerks my eyes each time I make a movement.
Cool idea! The camera jerking between turns was jarring. If it was a smooth transition that would help a lot. I like that it can be played entirely with mouse only. Nice low poly look, and fits the theme very well!
Honestly, I really love the idea of a turn-based game, which I can play it with my friends. It also fits the theme and it is very fun to play. I agreed with above players that the movement of the camera should be fixed in order to catch up with the movement of AI. There is just a little confusion when I played with AI in the picture attached below (In this case, I am pretty sure that I won the round but the game stopped and I could not move). Overall, it is a great game with nice idea and gameplay! Congrats! bug.png

A good game idea, the music should be improved. The graphics are good. Try our game too, maybe you'll like it)

Really cool game, one of my favorites so far! A bit sad that the CPU seemed a little AFK, but really enjoy it!
This is a great idea. I'm happy that you guys made some brazilian proud here :) MY only critic is that when you play against the computer I can not visualize your movements right. But great work implementing the 2 player mode in a few days

@andrey-ugolnik @star-garden Yeah, I think it was a bad idea do flip the camera after the middle of the map. Thanks for playing and for the suggestions!
@tungunity96 I had the same bug but only one time. I couldn't reproduce it. Really strange, but I'm glad you sent a screencap because I didn't take any (I thought I could reproduce it more easily). I will look into that! Thanks for playing, glad you like it :D!
@awix Thanks! I will try your game later. None of us know anything about music, but we did want to try to make it haha. I must say I got annoyed after play testing for a long time with the background music.
@koztar One of your favorites? That's awesome, thanks! What do you mean by AFK? Unless there is a bug (and there is :(, like the screenshot from @tungunity96), the AI should play too if you select the correct mode. Glad you enjoyed it!
@foxserranu If we can do half what you guys did next ludum dare, we will be very happy. I agree, we need to put some animations to the computer player. We thought about it but we had a big spaghetti code at the end, it wasn't easy haha (it should be if we were a little more careful when coding). Thanks for playing and for the suggestions! (also, your sound cloud music is great)
I only played with the AI, and it was kind of fun, but you don't see it playing step by step, it just teleports and you don't know what happened haha. I felt that the game ended too quickly too, maybe if you added some mechanics that let you teleportate, with a larger map, it could help make the game last longer. But overall it was fun!
I really liked the idea of the game, I did not play the multiplayer mode but I guess it's a lot of fun! Maybe the song could be a little better but I understand the rush of a gamejam! Haha, good work!
I liked the game, it's concept is fun. Enjoyed it a lot.

Cool, fun and awesome game. :) Wonderful job guys. Only thing I could add is the AI camera thing, but that was mentioned a couple times before me.

@eduardo-yukio Thanks for playing! Indeed, it plays too fast, we should add some delay for the animation. Also, we tried to do small maps while developing so it was easier to test everything. The map size is parametrized, so we thought about having different map sizes, but we didn't have time in the end. If we come back to it we will do it, because I agree it's too small!
@ganonwarrior The song is really bad haha! It's the next thing we will try to improve next game we make. Thanks for playing!
@anubhav-kashyap Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it.
@guladam Yeah, we will do it! Thanks for playing, and glad you liked it!
Sorry for taking so long to answer, everyone! We really like those feedbacks, thanks!
Nice game! I like this kind of puzzle! Great job!
