It's a nice setting in the game. Really moody. Simple, yet amazing graphics I think actually.

Neat game! I wasn't really sure though what the red blocks were though.
Simple but effective, great work. BOAT JUMP HYAAAAH!
Smart use of the theme, and an emotional game! The flooding mechanism means the game's very short but that's fine. I liked the graphics, but my only complaint would be that it was hard to tell that the world's scrolling when I hold down 'd' - so the first few games I just stayed near the middle and died.
Great mood and atmosphere to the game, game is a little short however
Nice! Loved the rain and thunder sounds, this really contributed to the mood! (The music volume was a little too high IMHO).
I liked how the grappling hook worked, and the colors were pretty and made a good mood :) I was a little confused about whether I could do anything to postpone getting flooded off screen since it happened so quickly. I also wasn't sure about the blocks -- maybe it would be better if we had more time to try interacting with things? (If I just missed something and that would go against the point of the game, I'm sorry!) Overall I think you made something really memorable and am glad I got to play :)
Ah, it took me a while to realize I had to continue moving horizontally until the plus sign. You might want to use some tutorial or moving backgrounds to make the goal and actions clear to the player. Not a fan of the music either.
Oh and why would people die on a boat in an open area (it's raining I believe) because of rising water
I like how the game looks, it has a nice mood. Indeed, the game is quite short. It took me a few times to realize the water was rising. I didn't really get the red blocks, what are they for?
It's a fun (albeit short) game, but the controls are confusing. I had to read a few of the other comments on here to puzzle it out. Perhaps a more detailed tutorial, or a video on itch? Otherwise, I liked the game.
Wonderful art and music! Love the theme idea, too. Simple and quick, I liked it!
Great game! loved every bit of it!
Nice atmosphere. I thought the red plus sign was some sort of health kit but it was the target you have to go towards. I lost once or twice but i didn't know why - was it timed?
When I read the help section everything made more sense. Shouldve done that earlier :P
It is quite simple and short but mechanics are solid.
