I'm trying the hosted version in Chrome and I don't seem to be able to place any spacers, am I missing something obvious?
I'm not sure if it's just me, but I can't seem to place Spacers. It seems like a neat concept, though!
You can only place them on the uncollapsed space.
The style is really cool. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing but I feel like it is a very neat concept.
Like minesweeper: -Addicting -Clicking shapes -Revealing space -Hurts my brain
Not like minesweeper: -Minesweeper's incredibly frustrating when you mess up -Minesweeper has no plot -This has pretty colors
Strange, and interesting. Good work :)
interesting concept
I definitely thought it was intriguing, but I just couldn't really wrap my head around what to do. I delayed what seemed like the inevitable, making as many and as large triangles as possible to contain the mutating squares, but not actually sure how I'm supposed to win. It had a definite mood though!
Really interesting idea, It took me a while to get the hang of it and when it finally started clicking I didn't realise I could zoom out and drag the map around! But I figured that out pretty quickly and then found and successfully stabilised the research station :)
I did have a weird "bug" of sorts, when I zoomed-out and/or dragged the map, I no longer had any indication that I was hovering over the tiles, and there were no triangle/shape indicators being rendered either. I did manage to recreate this bug when I dragged over to the edge of the map and zoomed out.
I also sometimes needed to double click to place a spacer, this again seems to be to do with zooming out (or just my browser/PC). Overall really cool idea and a very fun/interesting game. Well done!
The idea is really good and clever, and it fits the theme perfectly!
Matches the theme very well. Though I was lacking the understanding what was my goal? Did I had to conquer all space with white? Also encountered same bugs @starven had. Intresting concept in overall. Definately keeps me playing to figure out what I have to do. Solid 4.
Really hard to understand what the bloop was happening at first. Gave it some time, and was finally able to make a hexagon(oof, that was so hard). And then, well I just spammed all bright white spaces with spacers and more spaces just kept opening up around so I was just spamming all spacers clustered together which inevitably formed tiny hexagons and kept opening up the tiles around them...on which I spammed more spacers and then reached the station 1 line at a time...frustratingly slowly. I'm not sure if this was one of the intended ways to complete the game or not. I also experienced the bug that Starven mentioned, had to restart because of that once after I made a ton of progress on my slow method T_T
spacess.png I wanted to take one more screenshot of what's behind the e-mail but unfortunately the game closed when I closed the e-mail ahahah. It's basically one huge concentrated blob of pink with no spaces in between.
