I quite like the character design, and the enemies are varied enough to provide a challenge. The weapon is a bit cumbersome, but otherwise a solid game. I like it!

great idea - too bad more people have not played it
I loved the main character, what a beautiful art, cool game, though it is very simple, I really liked, really impressive fora compo entry, good job !
Caramba bem interessante seu jogo, vc que desenhor o personagem principal ? Ficou mt bom, o jogo é bem interessante, parabens !
Very simple gameplay, but with a very rewarding and learnable method of playing. Made the technical aspect of the gameplay incredibly satisfying. In terms of art, the cover and characters were cool, but the stiff characters made them feel lifeless.
I'd say you got a pretty good prototype here.

I LOVE IT. Pretty, intuitive, nice fxs !!!! The notion of rank with the enlargment of the angel is super good !
A nice game and a nice implementation of the theme. I one hundred percent appreciate the fact that you opted-out of the music category.
You cannot put anything that is not made by you on the 48 hour period on a compo game, even if it is public or free. You put art and music that is not yours so this is a jam game.
The concept is interesting and the combat mechanic is well executed. The game lacks some explanation of how the gold mechanic works.
@jozgames I think you can change from compo to jam on the game edit page if i remember correctly. Don't worry mate, mistakes happen ;)

Wow man, this is seriously good and addicting. The game is challenging enough that it doesn't get monotonous even after playing for some time. The monster accelerating towards you and the various monster attacks were very nice touches! Movement feels very tight (which is good!). This game is awesome! It's hard to say, but the game feels very dynamic for reasons I can't quite put it exactly, but it's good!
Music choice was nice. And DAT ART. I think another thing would be different types of weapons for different situations I guess. And seems like there are no reason for the gold. Maybe you could've made, say, the bigger you are, the stronger your attacks. And maybe some life points wouldn't hurt, getting one-hit-killed is kinda painful.
I really like the gameplay! The whole "use your attack an wait until it reloads" is kinda unique I think. Although I don't think the camera movement fits the game (I mean when it goes up and down a bit, creating the 3d effect).
Very interesting take on the theme, though it's more about balancing out your char (the more gold you have, the slower/bigger BUT your weapon becomes powerful). I find the hit-box for the char a bit too big and the "no dyeing animation" is kinda strange. The attack system is also very clever.
There are some good ideas here. A bit more work and polishment could turn this into a very nice game. Congrats!
Awesome game, love the character and the music, absolutely brilliant! The theme idea is good but quite a few people have gone for something similar but I like how you can drop coins and the online scoreboard really adds to it. Other than that, it's fantastic!
While the number of frames of art created for this game is relatively low, the level of quality is indicative of an excellent craftsman. This crafsmanship is matched by the game's tight, skill-based mechanics. While merely having the player grow bigger with the amount of gold collected would be a fairly standard take on the theme, allowing the player to drop gold creates a mechanic that results in an engaging game of calculated risk. This effect is enhanced by the player's weapon. The boomerang axe is a satisfying tool in itself, and it is quite satisfying to catch an enemy on the rebound, but having it grow in size and power with the player's gold complicates the dynamic further and enhances the temptation. Also wow my evil twin is brutal. There are certainly elements here that feel missing or incomplete, such as the lack of feedback when the player dies, the relatively unpolished score and gold display, and the lack of a backdrop for the upper half of the screen. Despite these flaws, I found this game to be exceptional.
a few animation with the right amount of time and will be a better game, gameplay feels simple but nice, good job.
Very nice game. I like the use of weapon of this type. The feedback is good. It fits the theme too. I like the graphic very much as well as the animation. Level design is good. Overall a nice shooting game.
I liked it so much. The more gold you have, the more enemies comes, but you could drop the gold if you wish. That's a great idea!
Muito legal, dá pra ficar um tempão jogando e aprendendo os padrões dos inimigos. Eu apostaria nesse jogo e trabalharia mais nele depois do LD. Um dos mais divertidos que joguei nessa edição.
Fun and beautiful game.
Clever game, loved the way you had to balance your size with your movement and power. Thought that was really well implemented and played for a lot longer then I'd first expected, which is always a good sign. Art was also great.
Hey @jozgames,
nice entry! It's minimalistic and very well done. I just love the character design  Even with the lack of animation frames the Valkyrie is just beautiful! The paralaxing background made cool effect. Some kind of sky or clouds would be neat. The sound really fit the mood, well chosen.
The gameplay itself was very entering and addictive. The mechanic of the spinning rod was great! My highlight of the game was the throwing fx of the rod, it's sooo satisfying. It's very impressive that you could create a leaderboard within the time. Oh and the gold mechanic definitely hit the theme. Sadly I couldn't make it to the scoreboard even after serval trys^^"
I could definitely see a feature for this game. With different types of weapons or ultimates.
Overall absolutely awesome job!
