OMG I love the spurting blood! Reminds me of Monty Python. Great game dude.

corndog 2017-12-05 20:26

Nice. I got most of my kills running around baiting them to punch eachother to death.

slavicgames 2017-12-05 21:05

I like the idea and blood! :) Scene could be clearer, it's too confusing for me. Anyway it have potencial.

Any chance of a linux build?

shodanon 2017-12-05 22:05

@lancejz Thanks, man! I guess I had the black knight's flesh wound in the back of my head when making the gibs.

@corndog That is a valid tactic, requiring just as much cunning as fighting the raiders head-on. Thanks for playing.

@slavicgames Thank you. How would you like the scene be made learer? We were hoping to achieve a clean look for the environment but the chaos among characters is intentional.

@yancouto It's available now! Hope it works...

That was a fun game.

16 Kills, 51 Minutes :D I liked the gore effects and that the enemies were attacking the other enemies. :D

I would like to have an option for getting more health and once I was on the buildings, I was totally trapped. :$

That's one bloody Maxmadvaganza if I've ever seen one. I like it's setting, and how it looks like the kind of brawl that you'd expect in a world like this. If I'm going to down, might as well be while fist fighting shirtless punks and drinking beer, right?

Still, I got a bit confused about why Left Click is Right Punch and vice versa. Not very intuitive, and more often than not, I thought that the hitboxes were a bit out of place. Some punches were not connecting, and I even felt that some of _their_ punches hit me more than once on the same swing.

Ah well. Still, as a top down brawler, this isn't half bad. Very entertaining for some minutes, specially with a lot of fans on the screen. In behalf of my team, keep up the good work! :whale:

Quite a fun game.

Graphics and Sound are a bit lackluster, but I liked the idea and the game mechanics work pretty well.

At some point I was standing in a heap of beer bottles and the enemies were having a hard time even making their way through the crowd of cactus fans. Started to lag a lot though ;)

Had fun with this one. No one ever does melee top down shooters. Just work on the animations and overall feel and you might have a pretty rad game on your hands.

The ultimate strategy is getting a bunch of fans to shield you. Though it doesn't transfer well to kills, I only got 10 and those were the guys killing each other.

I think the game did juice well, I particularly enjoyed the punch sound effects and the effects when running over dead enemies where they explode. The BGM seems a little quiet, but that may be just my imagination. I think the BGM itself fit well with the game.

Cool game, I'm a sucker for arcade-style games so I enjoyed this fast-paced type of gameplay a lot.

I like this game. Only drawback is perhaps the difficulty in seeing enemy swings and timings, as the screen soon gets a bit messy with the corpses of your enemies and blood draining from their orifices. Also the cactus people seemed to avoid me when I stepped out of the ring? I had the impression that they would crush me.

Neat game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 40 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5HW0fYwhN4
