i like the concept and the graphics but i can barely last a minute in this game. i have yet to find a strategy to keep both species alive. Keyboard controls to pan the camera would have been a nice addition.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD40 → Imbalanced

Love the game idea! Rabbits are too cute to kill by thunderbolt..
Hey ! I really like the idea :) ! Simple and full of possibilities ! The game is also filled with cool little animation like that juicy looking sun and fierce bolt of lightning ! Cheers :) !
imitation of God! i think it's good enough! it's hard to make balance game balanced
My high score: 200. That was kind of fun. Graphics are cute, gameplay was pretty good, eventually I got the hang of keeping the wolves under control, only to lose all of my grassland, and my next game I managed to balance both pretty well until a stray lightning bolt killed my wolf pair -_-.
Controls could definitely use some work - some way to pan without moving the mouse to the side of the screen (drag, WASD, Arrow keys, anything) would be great. However, I usually just zoomed out so I could see the whole map and played from there anyway, so just being able to maximize the window and see the whole thing instead of a tiny window on my giant monitor would be great ;).
wahah characters makes me smile xD
I thought I could perform a surgical lightning strike on a single rabbit in a group... I was wrong.
@silvervalegames Ha, you made me laugh. Thanks for playing.
Really cool concept, love the little eggo hatching! I feel that the abilities could perhaps be a bit more precise? or maybe they're meant to be a bit loose to keep it balanced and allow for accidents etc.
The mouse moving the camera was a little awkward, perhaps arrow / WASD to move could be a secondary option?
Great game, great concept, I'd love to see this expanded outside the compo. Nice work! :)
Hah, that was fun. As has been said, wasd to move camera. maybe 1,2,3,4 for powers instead of clicking the bar. Could be a mobile game too actually.
Good job on the bgm, it was really cute. ~
Very nice concept! I missed a 'balance bar' so I could know which species were in danger
Very neat little game!
Like others have said, a way to pan the screen without moving the mouse to the edge of the screen would have been nice. Same for being able to use the powers without clicking the bar at the bottom.
Sometimes the lightning strike seems to affect the animals not at all, or delayed, or not the right enemies. A little radius for it would have been good.
really fun game! But I couldn't get to the zombie spell, wish it had smaller cooldown time
WASD + Hotkeys for the power skills would be great, needed some time to recognize the mouse scrolling at the edge.
Fun but hard game.
Very nice concept, I love the Multi Agent Simulation aspect of it. Nice work!
Huge weakness for ecosystem style games and this game scratches the itch - would love to see this expanded upon! Loads of fun!
So far this was the one i spend most time on. It took me 5 plays to actually get a good feel of the mechanics. The 'in between hints' helped a lot. Kudos!
@esper000 Glad you liked it!
Nice one! Unique idea and well executed! The art was endearing to the characters, (poor things).
I uploaded my gameplay of this game on youtube, you can find it here

Thanks for being part of the stream :)
This is actually a really good idea! The game created a constant tension that always kept it interesting, and it fit the theme perfectly. The music and art were good too! I found the camera controls to be a bit strange, and it would have been useful to see what the different abilities do, but otherwise great job!
The idea is super interesting, and the game is fun to play. Both the music and graphics is good and it all fits the game well. I love the way the game learns the player, how too play the game. Overall a very well made LD game. Well done.
I had to use the sun a few times before I realized what it was doing. I think I scored around 140 and then all of my rabbits died. Trying to manage the populations is tricky.
I don't think the instructions told me that WASD move the camera, but I figured it out when some animals ran offscreen.
