Great entry! congratz! very original and pleasant gameplay, I like the physics, movements and "water" effect. Music is cool too, the sound effects are maybe a bit too "buzzy". I think it could be improved with a bit of screen shaking + changing screen opacity when bumping to other characters, it would make the game even more immersive. Anyway, very good job

I ran the HTML5 version in chromium on linux, and got no sound. It took me a couple of minutes to realise I was literally meant to go up, and I still don't think I know what all the icons on collectibles meant, but I really like the idea :)

interesting take on the theme, I was a little bit lost at the beginning but I made it through

Cool game! I played it in Chrome on OS X and it worked flawlessly. I agree with a previous reviewer that the purpose of the power-ups were pretty vague, but the mechanics were fun and it's a pretty fun concept!

I loved the faces on the atoms reminded me of some of the South Park facial animations! It was fun I think I made it all the way to 84 on my second try!

The game was a little repetitive and I wasn't really sure what those power ups you can pick up were. Granted I didn't really read the instructions. It looks like all you did was go around and hit the other guys and move on up in the world. I love that it was like a gravitational pull when you went up to the next level. That was a really cool feature put in. Good work!

Really great idea, I think it has a lot of potential. My major complaints are that its just extremely hard to hit anything with Bob and John. There's a lot going on all the time and its hard to tell what's happening. I think what might help is making Bob and John different colours from one another, and maybe having an indicator on screen of which atom corresponds to which mouse button. Also its pretty awkward to switch between the attack and shield keys, its too many controls to manage. I think perhaps just having one key, for example space bar, to turn both your atoms into shields at once would work better. Then you can either be in "shield mode" or "attack mode" without having to hunt for keys on your keyboard in such a frantic situation. I wasn't a huge fan of the music but the sounds effects were good. The facial expressions and exclamations from the enemies were a nice touch. Overall great work!

Challenging and fun game! It took me a while to understand in what direction the h atoms shoot. You could indicate it with an arrow with different colours for each mousebutton. - I just read the other comments and apparantly there are shields, sorry I'm really bad at reading instructions - Other than that it handled well and the game play was fun. I played it a couple of times and started to only bumped into other H2Os on the last tries and got to vaporize much faster. No shots (or shield) needed. I think I'm getting it, but I still don't have a clue what the power ups do, beside the energy one. I think the game runs fast enough without needing them and it definitily has replay value with the given time score. The graphics are very simple, but effective and fitting. The music is not really my thing, but it doesn't bother me either. Loved the cutesy faces of the water molecules. Great game, keep on bumping!

There is no button or key that I know of to get back into the main menu.

PS: If I'm a water molecule, why is everything around me wobbely like I'm inside a much finer liquid :P ?

The basic battle mechanic was cool! It felt good to throw them and have them come back, it would help if they were different colors though. I also think blocking should be more accessible, like maybe use middle-click or switch the controls to buttons.

Nice concept, though I've only used WASD and found using the other keys confusing.

Really intesting game, concept, etc... about the only thing I would ask for would be some improvements on control inputs (to many buttons) and maybe have the electrons shoot toward your mouse cursor or some way of aiming them. right now any shot is basically random. Also could have the electrons in either shield or shooting state - since they are the only functional states. Doesn't seem to be any block (other then the ability to press all the needed buttons) otherwise.

toonteamj 2017-08-05 14:52

The game is good, even if the controls are a little complicated. It would be easier if we could use Z and X instead of Y and X.

goodzilla 2017-08-05 16:20

I like the funny idea and graphics and sound are quite motivating to always contiune. However control of Bob and John to increase my energy, I found very difficult, but then the certain amount of randomness corresponds to real physics ;-)
