I enjoyed this game a lot, and I wonder why it hasn't got more ratings.

Positives: - I love the idea of displaying directly health on the entities. - The blend 2D/3D is great - Two players - Graphics are nice

Negative: - The controls on slopes are weird

HAHAHAHAH. I REALLY like these graphics (for some reason). There's something super-satisfying about the 3D backgrounds and the very lofi foreground action. The dissonance fits the mood over the game. Controls are a bit odd here, and I never really got the hang of shooting upwards, but really cute and fun overall. Nice work!

Nice. Some feedback when the player hit an enemy or an enemy hit the player would probably help make the game feel more responsive. Maybe knockback or an animation or just make the sprite blink. For instance, for I was not sure my shots did anything to the boss. I'm still not sure how I beat him...

Also collision with platforms are weird when you come from the side, the player get stuck. I also suggest to put an invisible ramp over the stairs so that the player can climb them just by moving forward.

I think the collision detection was a little off and the controls were pretty bad, but otherwise it was a pretty fun game.
