Great work!
Darn family. Don't they realize they make me black out?
I love it. Art, animation, and music fit very well with the gameplay. Amazing entry.
It took me a while to understand what I have to do but now I really like your game. The art style is amazing, keep it up! :)
Wow this is a great game, great graphics and also a bit to figure out whom is who :D Love the pixel graphics. Would love to have more missions to figure out :D
@cg-fred Yeah, you're right about the who's who! I had that pointed out to me literally minutes before submission and I whipped out something real fast. When you're near mom or dad, a speech bubble pops up saying "Hi, son".
Stressfulfamily! Leave me alone!
Decent polish, an actual game loop, and a quirky style. Well done.
Cool! It does get repetitive quite fast though. Would have been great with a wider variety of missions. Also think it would be fun if the player was doing something in his room, i.e. play video games. Would probably appeal a lot to the Ludum Dare community :P Aside from that, the game is lovely. Love the music and graphics.
@luckyfeathers I fully intended to do that. I must admit I didn't manage my time well enough. I spent most of my time drawing. I had plans for missions with the aunt and cousin, and I even added a Switch to the bedroom, but I ran out of time.
Nice idea, short but fun, graphics are awesome, they remind me some games from NES. Great game!
Very funny, but short game. The graphics are awesome, but some more mechanics would have been nice!
Great game, i like the graphics and sounds.
I really like the idea of this game. It's pretty unique. I adore the dog pixel art and is what prompted me to play! I know the objective is pretty simple to explain but for whatever reason I kept losing? I swear I was saying hi to my aunt and uncle but the screen would go black and ask if I wanted to retry/quit. Dang it! I might come back later this evening and try again. Overall great work! Definitely some talent here!
really nice graphics, and a very relatable concept, haha. great job! :^)
Ahhh this was so good! The art and the music meshed together with the mechanics really well, it made the mundane tasks seem fun! I loved the details of this too, all of the relatives had their own personalities and wandering habits. Great job!
This game is so charming and relatable! The art, music, and sound effects are cheerful and bring back a taste of childhood. It's really awesome that you could throw in so many little details in just 72 hours; they really give the game life and make you explore the house to try to find things to do. As much as I love the dog, (s)he's really gotta stop moving. It seems like you had plans for more content, and I think that's exactly what the game needs. Really well done, this is a fantastic game. Keep up the good work!
I like this concept a lot, and the graphics and music go along with it well. It did take me an embarrassingly long amount of time to realize that your 'comfort' recharged while you were in your room, but it makes sense.
The games music, graphics and gameplay was very very good!. Its a very good game. Full of Innovation. I will like to see this game in future again!
The gameplay felt more like I was a waiter than a kid bringing things to his aunt and uncle, but this was a whole lot cuter. Wish there were more types of 'missions', but otherwise I had fun with this one!:) Cute music, great pixelated style. Keep it up!
This game is very funny. The humor is amazing and everything (music, graphics, gameplay) contributed to make a unique experience. Good job!
Wow, this was stressful. I didn't understand what I was supposed to do and I kept dying. Like the graphics and music, though the latter just added to the stress.
