When I was younger I used to really freak out over the idea of the world suddenly ending due to an asteroid collision....this game made me uneasy. Awesome use of music to create threat from the main menu to the game. Beautiful graphics. A really awesome game mechanic, I suck at this game tho I found it super hard (even on easy) so I'm gonna come back to this one. Highly recommend it, and a lot of fun. Good job!

Great idea, and great game. Only problems is that i don't know how to play. I did't menage to anything on 5 tries on easy :(

The visuals on this is just mindblowing, both menus and the actual game. Awesome feeling and the connection to the theme is just great in my opinion - it makes you think like yeah, our planet/world is just extremley small and it would not take that much "cosmically speaking" to just eraze it all... Some negatives I can think of is theres really no replay value, after I've saved the world once I really diden't feel like doing it again.

What an amazing game! The visuals are stunning and the use of music to build tension is well done. The music was great. I haven't yet managed to stop it on the medium level, but did on easy on the first try.

I am curious, though, if this idea came from the Stargate SG-1 episode, Fail Safe (S5E17) where Anubis sent an asteroid to impact Earth or if it is based off the actual asteroid, Apophis (which just happened to be another Goa'uld from SG-1), which had been predicted to collide with Earth on April 13, 2029. Either way, great game!

I agree with @khorm, though, that there is little replay value, although I think that until you have beat it on hard, there is some. Perhaps planets with differing gravities that affect the asteroid in unique ways?

Cheers James, I didn't actually get the idea from SG1 - I never did get around to watching that show beyond season 1, but I did take the name Apohis from the real asteroid (though I took some artistic license with the appearance and scale). :)

Graphics and audio are top notch here, really liking that!

As people have said, there's little replay value once you succeed once so maybe a little variety on scenarios would go a long way here.

A really visually pleasing game, very well done!

Graphics is so awesome, that it looks like a movie. Interesting gameplay idea. For me game ended quite unexpectedly, I thought there would be more steps involved in saving the world :D And I think it's better to start with the camera facing the other direction, I didn't even realize that this asteroid is heading to the earth on the first playthrough.

Excellent concept and graphics! Good difficultly ramp between easy, normal, and hard. Well implemented mechanics. Good job!

Love it! Looking at the screenshots- there seem to be amazing planet backdrops. I didn't see any of those- graphical glitch? Or is that just promo art? Seemed like the burning fireball around the asteroid would make more sense with an impending planet in the b-ground. Was streaming through remote desktop from pc to mac. I'll try on the desktop alone and let you know! Great music and feel.

This is the game with the best and most polished graphics I played so far on the event. The UI is fantastic too. The theme interpretation is very original: our planet, a pale blue dot, is so small that its life could be ruined easily. As someone have said, the replay value is low, but there's a lot of possibilities for a full game. I would definitely play more levels!

The graphics are awesome. That blue/orange contrast is beautiful!

The UI also fits perfectly with the realistic style, would love to see this go further!

Wow.. Those graphics are just super awesome! I love the simple but nice principle too. Would be awesome if you add some more mechanics to the game to make it a little longer. Something like shooting rockets from earth to the asteroid, who then deliver the boosters or something like that. I also noticed that some of the stars in the background are flickering when you move the camera. But all in all a super impressive game with super impressive art.

This game is super neat, but very difficult. I wish there was a way to more thoroughly adjust the thrusts as I had a lot of issues lining up what I thought was the direction of the thrust with the rotation of the Asteroid.

Gorgeous visuals, I wish the impact had been more eventful. But it's a jam game.

Thanks for the submission!

Reallly difficult to get the rotation stabilized, but after three tries I managed to do it in Easy mode.

The graphics are amazingly beautiful. The sound is great, too. No sound fx, just like in a vacuum, but the music is such a mood enhancer, and imparts a sense of greater urgency, and when you fail it's even better. But there should have been some success music, too. It's so hard to earn a victory, you really deserve to hear it when you succeed.

One of my favorites this time. Really nice job.
