Wow that's a really cool concept! I would love to see a more extended and polished version of it. And in my opinion, the red sticks were not necessary, the planet was small enough to find the town ;)

That's really big game, and cool concept! Loved it!
Loved the idea, and the game play was amazing!
This is a really interesting concept, and i'm impressed by the whole planet simulation going on, especially since this is your first 3d game. It is pretty rough around the edges (as expected by a ld-game) but i didn't like the fuel system, it felt like it limited the exploration potential. Overall, it is really cool!
The idea for game is really good, and the flying mechanic is super easy to learn. It is bit difficult to know where there different planets are. But overall a very well made LD game. And please give the game some music and sound effects.
Good idea, but the game needs a lot of improvement. You could also increase the altitude of the player camera a bit.
Given the time constraint, your work is impressive. You just need to polish the game...
I love the concept, and I enjoyed the game. Might be because I'm partial to space stuff (just look at my name).
I think it's a little bit rough though. The graphics are passable, but there's no audio, and the controls don't feel particularly good. I also didn't get to see the ending, because when I got to the part where I needed to destroy buildings it said I had 46/47 buildings destroyed, but there were no more buildings on the planet.
I think with more polish and some bug fixes, this could be a pretty interesting game. There's something alluring about the concept of flying around in space and landing on planets, so the concept is definitely good.
I thought the red lights were overkill at first, but they are a nice landing guide that gets you near the mayor for refuel. Planet variety was nice; could use some spacey ambient music or pew-pew sfx for the gun.
This was a really great concept, but I think that the execution was a little bit lacking. My main complaints are as follows: * Nighttime was really dark, and I spent a good 5 minutes looking for the mayor in darkness. * The fuel system left me unable to reach the moon. * Space ship controls were a little weird. I would've preferred Q/E to tilt. * It was a little hand hold-y with the red sticks and the objective texts. * No audio made it hard to feel immersed.
Those are my big complaints, but I also think that some of the things you did were really cool. Being on the planet as it spun was super interesting, and it made me feel really small. Also, having a spaceship and the ability to explore other planets was sort of mind-blowing for a 48 hour game.
Again, I think that this was a great concept, but it could've been carried out a little better. Nice work, regardless.
So, let me get this straight: Someone said "Make a game in 48hrs based on this here 'Small World' theme," and you went, "Okay, I'm gonna make No Man's Sky!"?!?! Dang, you got some moxie! I just can't help but be in awe (and, perhaps, a little frightened) of you. Its also a testament to the results that, even at this level of fidelity, hopping from planet to planet in the solar system is quite a wonderful feeling and an impressive sight.
On the downside, ship controls are kinda funky and I died a couple times after exiting my ship and, I guess, clipping through the planet. Starting over kinda sucked. Still worth the ride though!
Nice game! Very big for a compo entry. I wish I had more time to play.
The concept of the game is really great! I had lots of fun playing it. Lots of content too for a Compo game! I didn't expect it to have this much planets. The fuel was frustrating however, and I think the game would have been way more pleasant to play without it.
Really great work! I hope you keep on working on this game!
This was a really cool concept. 10/10 better than No Mans Sky :) I really liked the idea of essential carpet bombing the planets from range. was also really impressed with the fact that you cant place buildings on water/moutains.
My only request would be, there were many times I found myself wishing for a simple button to reorient my ship while i was exploring the plantes.
Its a really fun game dude. Alos sorry for telling my game but I also need the 20. Here's a Link to mine Please Check it out: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/timmy-and-the-snowflake
Enjoyed the giant changes in scale. Always love a good planet colonization. :D.
Thanks for sharing your fun little game with me!
My games called Tiny Dentist, a totally different 'world' than this, inside a giants mouth! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/tiny-dentist
Ahhh I love it. Your universe is really cute! Btw if youre to close to the ground and then exit your vehicle, youll fly through the ground and die.
This is really impressive, the moment when you take off the ship and look back is pretty awesome. Cheers man. If you want to play our game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/dr-zorongo
The game looks good. I got out of fuel for the first tries and had to restart. I did not figure with was the moon I should head too. But then it worked. I found that a way to save fuel is by elevating and lowering the ship when I am close to the planet. Had a good time playing it. A little polishing on controls will make it even better. And some sound too, of course. congrats!. If you have the opportunity, please try my game for the Jam : NUKEBALL - https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/nukeball
Space travel was done well, but scale on the planet seemed odd and it was hard to tell distance from the surface. Visuals are nice and simple, lack of sound breaks immersion as commented earlier. Tooltips are placed too close to center. Biggest problem for me was motivation and story. I had no idea who I was and why I was doing all this. I quit after refuel so I don’t know how it ends.

Thank you all for your kind feedback! It really means a lot to me! A lot of you mentioned that you would like to see an improved version of the game, so i actually decided to make one! You can find it [Here](http://gamejolt.com/games/gulyagames/255271). I'm listening to suggestions, so if you would like me to add something into the game, just write a comment on the gamejolt page, and i might make it happen!
