Nice game! Love the minimal graphics. I'm very bad at toggle enemies while jumping :)

Nice game! Love the minimal graphics. I'm very bad at toggle enemies while jumping :)
Love the aesthetic. The movement is quite nice as well! I couldn't make it past the third enemy on level 12 :(
The lava art being scaled more than the rest of the art does bug me lol.
Really cool game! The art style is very nice, but i wish things didn't move around between pixels! The wall jumps feel very awkward; because it forces the player upwards for a moment before allowing movement again, it makes some jumps very annoying, such as trying to walljump when spikes are anywhere close above you. you have no choice but to fly up into them. Having a variable jump-height would be nice, it would make platforming feel better and maybe fix the walljumping a little. Collision detection in a bit weird too, I fall through the ground if I fell from too high.
The enemy toggle thing is an interesting idea, seems like maybe there was more planned for it but not enough time. "toggling" seems useless to me, since there's no benefit for having the enemies in the angry state. The orb you push out also moves pretty slowly, making that one level kind of weird, since you have to go back and forth after toggling them in-air.
Otherwise i liked the game. The music and sounds are pretty nice
Not bad! Not bad at all!
First of all the art style is unique and looks really cool. The controls feel good and the movement i fluid. But I don't think the game really fits in to the theme that well and the level design/gameplay is not very unique. The game feels like a complete package, but aside for the graphics it's a bit too similar to other games. But hey, it was made in 72 hrs so it's still really impressive.
The piano notes are a really nice touch. The contrast to the more synthetic music makes the whole thing feel a lot livelier.
Managed to beat the game, very impressed with this. At first it seemed to be a simple platformer, but the audio and the mechanic to turn enemies good where very nuanced and fresh. Overall the game play was just right and the difficulty too. I too also liked the piano notes from jumping, and throughout the audio effects and music were very well done. I'd love to see more of this game if you want to add to it, but as it stands it's a solid entry.
Nice platformer with some fresh mechanics. The swap mechanic was cool, but i think it would be better if it was activated in another, faster way. The controls are great, and so is the graphics and the audio.
Thank you all for the feedback (:
Excellent, nicely polished platformer, loved the art style and the way the jump sfx fit in nicely with the music. The toggle enemies mechanic was a nice variation on the classics. Great job
Very very nice; the Downwell aesthetic is pulled off really well here (possibly better than it actually is in Downwell :-p ). Enemy polarity is a mechanic I've seen before, but never in a platformer that I can recall. There's a lot of potential here for both action level design and puzzle level design (though action level design may benefit from some tweaks to make mid-air flipping more of a thing).
All in all, this is very cool. The difficulty curve works really well, for the most part; it felt challenging, but I was able to finish it. I will say I found level 12 to be much more challenging than any of the subsequent levels, though.
Like the music/sounds in the game!
Really nice Super Meat Boy like game, maybe a bit less responsive in terms of controls but with some nice ideas of gameplay (turning the ennemies into a bouncing platform...). Really enjoyed going through the 15 levels. Would have like a bit more difficulties and challenge on the last ones.
Nice musics and sound effects !!! And solid and nice to play entry !!!
Super awesome, loved the pixel art and how the game teaches you to play it as you go along.
This game is amazing, the art style is beautiful and the main character is so cute. Greate Job! I hope you can get enough rating before the time ends.
A surprisingly good game despite the low amount of ratings. Sometimes the controls felt a bit weird - wall jump for example could be more lenient - but I liked the level design and audiovisual feeling a lot. Overall great work for such a short timeframe!
Very cool little platformer you got there. The simple sprites together form some very neat visuals.
I love this aesthetic!
Cool game! The mechanics remind me of Super Meat Boy (especially that you can bounce off the walls). My criticism is that it's very hard (though probably it's intentional) and the animation when you die (which happens often) is too long, while I'd prefer to retry right away. Very great graphics and music!
