Definitely the most atmospheric game so far, simple concept, but works well.

I noticed a lot of seams between the level pieces, which broke immersion a little, and a bit of variety in the level would have been nice, it was hard for me to figure out if I was going in circles

Good job on the game. It has good graphics and the monsters are pretty good. The orientation is very difficult (all corridors look the same) and i get lost very quick, the game will improve a lot with some help for the player on that part. Overall: Good job, a fun game.

Some feedback, surrounding sounds were pretty good for creating a somewhat creepy mood. However the monsters were not that dangerous, it was more of a game you hunting monsters while the mood was supposed to be more creepy. The idea of knives as being a limited resource was actually quite promising, I felt a slight twitch at the start of the game when I dropped to just 1 knife cos of testing the mechanics, but the game was honestly too generous with the knives considering it only takes 1 knife to kill a mob. Also, the labyrinth looked too samey, even adding things that dont fit at all, but just to act as landmarks would make it better as for orientiers, in the end didnt find one chest so just brute forced the code once I found the door. Nice try though never the less. Keep jamming bro.

Really nice sense of atmosphere, the creepy music and sound effects really add to the immersion. The menus could use a bit of work but the in-game UI was pretty good. I managed to complete it too! The last chest took a while.

Very good work on the atmosphere !
As mentionned before, you should try to make the level design a bit better, because running around randomly (as would any player) made me find the exit before all the chests, so I ended up brute-forcing the password (I had 5/6 papers thing).
The ennemies arent much of a problem because you run faster and they dont dodge your knives ... Overall nice work :)

Really good on the models and textures. Liked the setting and mood.

This was a good game, it felt complete within the bounds of the jam. it rand smoothly and felt like the atmosphere fit.

I found if difficult to find the last enemy so I just brute forced the answer. If the enemies made some noise it would give the player a chance to find them or flee. It feels a little bit silly that I can't reuse knives, being able to pick them up would be nice especially if you placed only a few in the level.

I enjoyed this and would love to see more

Really atmospehric. Almost shat myself. Good job :D
I would like to have a map so I could see what areas I didn`t check. :)

The graphics were great, though maybe a bit too bright for a "spooky" game. I have to say, though, that it was a bit too on the easy side.

Very simple and somewhat nearly boring gameplay, but awesome sound design/visual design. (my ears are bleeding, but thats AWESOME!, the soundtrack really benefits the atemosphere and did quite scare me). Also (it's not your fault, most unity games have this issue), minimizing the game while wanting to attack an enemy cause your cursor moved to the second screen cause it wasn't grabbed can be quite annoying.

geosearchef 2016-12-13 23:46

Wait...., you opted out of audio voting :(? Your soundtrack is so good!

frantos 2016-12-14 00:01

Thanks for all the feedback so far guys! It has been really great and this is ny first time participating in a game jam! I want to make a post-jam version to finish it off the way I wanted it.

@Geosearchef yea, I opted out from audio and graphics, because I did not make some of the assets.

Interesting game, very maze-like. The enemy model was really nice!

Good game, it kept me interested all the way to the end. Maybe it could have used a few more enemies, but the sound design is awesome.

The sound definitely helps create a spooky atmosphere in this game. It was a little let down by the level design, as it was so large with many extremely long corridors. I would have preferred a smaller level with more corners and a fraction of the light sources.

I killed 5 monsters and found 5 chests, couldn't find the last chest or monster, but I ended up finding the door and trial/error-ing the last digit.

There were a few mesh issues like overlapping faces and gaps but overall it looked pretty good. Cool game! Good job

kappaix 2016-12-14 20:40

Good, creepy sound (would have been nice to have a slightly longer loop - as you could spend quite a while in the game), it was fun hunting down the monsters, but it was quite tough to find the chests.

Got a few nice tense moments, when I only had a couple of knives and the monsters are bearing down on you. Didn't find one of the chests in the end, but managed to find the code - phew, I escaped!

Well done, thanks for sharing!

Atmosphere for this one was really great. The audio was fantastic, and putting together a 3D mine with this look in the time you had was a nice accomplishment. The layout was pretty good too... I rarely saw a dead end, although I got lost a fair bit. Being chased by a monster when I didn't have a knife was pretty scary, but once I realized that the blue fog held a hard-to-see knife it helped. A simple 60-second bug fix would be to clear your background to black rather than blue so you can't see the occasional far clip or seam. :-) A job well done.
