whats a gmz and how do i play/use it?

aaranos 2016-04-19 01:44

Not sure what you use to run the game.

trisquare 2016-04-19 01:47

What is this file format?

clockwerkclover 2016-04-19 01:55

Sorry about the gmz thing. That was the Game Maker source code. The link should go the the .exe now

16bitsofawesome 2016-04-19 01:59

Interesting concept. I didn't completely know what I was doing, though. The water and lifting effects on the terrain were cool

wisedawn 2016-04-19 02:01

Cool, a God game! It's a shame I cannot flood the capital though :)

avinashd 2016-04-19 02:04

The gameplay didn't really feel focused, but the idea does have potential if there were points, levels, objectives or something like that.

djfariel 2016-04-19 02:05

That was really interesting. I didn't get very far before I flooded my cities, but... there's a lot of potential for something incredibly pleasing here.

peter1992t 2016-04-19 02:24

I liked the atmosphere. Didn't really understand the point/goal.

kappaix 2016-04-19 20:08

Not 100% sure what I was supposed to be doing, so instead, I flooded the world! Mwahahahahahaaaaaaa...

Well done!

2016-04-19 20:31

lots of potential... we need more RTS games. Nicely done. Could use a giant cat though.

drusilla 2016-04-19 20:32

I really enjoyed the music. Kind of sad I drowned my little guys </3

big-cow 2016-04-19 20:57

Lovely game - great mood, nice and relaxing to play, liked the music as well. really nice take on the theme too.

blobo 2016-04-19 23:15

Very relaxing. nice work.

weeping-rupee 2016-04-21 01:57

Interesting design. Some more direction would be nice. the music kept cutting out as well

lrp 2016-04-21 16:57

neat

legavroche 2016-04-21 23:25

I enjoyed the mood of the game. The art and music went well with each other. I'd appreciate more directions though on what each thing would do for the land. Also, as a suggestion to take it further, how about adding some micromanagement designs, like a food/water meter for the people?

ludumanthony 2016-04-21 23:26

Like the others said, has a lot of potential but right now it's pretty basic. It was actually more fun than I expected. Also, is there a turn off music button hidden below the drop down arrow for selecting things because I kept pausing the music by clicking it somehow.

clockwerkclover 2016-04-21 23:36

Thanks for all the advice everyone! In the future we hope to add some objectives and/or scenarios to give it a bit of direction. Things like creating a sustainable village or reach X population. we might add fighting between villages as well.

@LudumAnthony
yeah there is a mute button under them menu. Thanks for pointing that out.

macronoid 2016-04-22 17:31

Interesting concept, but I couldn't figure out the goal (if any). Also I was wondering if there was any kind of progression.

However it's quite relaxing. Good job for a first game!

wolves-direwolf 2016-04-22 17:34

I like your implementation of the theme. Nice and relaxing game. Well done!

mayank-technical 2016-04-24 09:25

AWWWww! my little guys can't float. I like the game. A bit turdy but nice.

marc-fichtel 2016-05-03 20:35

Needs polishing but solid fun entry!
