Fun idea! I could probably use a scan myself...
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD31 → LD scan

Fun idea! I could probably use a scan myself...
Cool!! I think I got the 48HJM virus!!
This is fantastic and I will never be a doctor
Very interesting nod to Papers, Please!
I think you should make this into a full game!
Interesting game :D love it
Pretty great game! Do NOT let your patient for 30 minutes under the LD-scan!
Impressive for one person to make this game, you should expand and try to work with other people. Your Potential will encrease
haha very fun! :)
I thought it was interesting, and clever, but I was terrible at it.. Missing something probably.
Very cool idea!
This game made me feel so stupid, but I liked it anyway.
This was a cool idea. Really unique and fun.
Pleasantly surprised by how polished and complete this was! It's super fun to play. Gets challenging really quick.
P.S. I found the snowman ;D
A bit confusing at first, but once I understood what to do, I really enjoyed it. The gradual increase in rules/complexity stopped the game from getting stale, and I liked the relevance to the theme (as well as the relation to Ludum Dare). It's a very well-executed game; congratulations!
I remember seeing this in the forums before the dare was over. Good work!
Really impressive! I had trouble with getting the scans right, but that's probably just because I'm dumb. :)
Probably the best game I've played all jam, and not only because of nepotism. I found it pretty simple because I know my Boolean algebra, but it's still challenging. I wish there was more incentive to not just pick a random diagnosis and hope you had a 50/50 chance, though-- the game doesn't have much tension. Good music would probably help here (hint hint), although what audio you do have is appropriately Sim-ish and charming.
This is a really complex game, but well thought out, very beautiful and addicting! Also funny, hehe
The voice acting was great, but I sucked as a doctor.
Interesting game, one that I enjoyed for its creativity.
However, I think you got some medical terms mixed up.
I think you have used "symptom" where "signal" should be used (symptom is what the patient feels, signal is something that can be seen or measured) and "prognosis" where "diagnosis" should be used (prognosis is how the disease is expected to progress, or how it has progressed depending on time we are talking about, after diagnosis and usually after treatment if such is available).
I would also have enjoyed the ability to turn off the scanner while I was thinking and then turn it on again.
Also I'd like to reiterate that I enjoyed your game a lot and played it quite a while.
I feel like the exceptions mechanic wasn't clear enough, clarifying it is another improvement I suggest.
Pleasant graphics, nice sounds and addictive too. I couldn't close it before I completed all levels, though it got repetitive and boring-ish after first half. Is that what you call addictive? :D
I also loved horrible stories of patients you hold in scanner for too long. How many is there? The only reason I've seen two is because game rules are not very obvious and tutorial mentions shaded and blue areas before you even see what's it all about. So I've read it again and again, trying to understand how to play, and killed two patients while reading. :D
I wish it were more obvious on which part of the body should I look though. I believe they do not match exactly for added difficulty, and some parts, especially chest/arms could be very easily confused for each other. Someone mentioned Papers, Please. That was there with faces too, they didn't exactly match, but first of all, there was a button that could auto-check it for you, it just took a little bit more time; and second, aren't you looking at schematic medical guidelines that should be as easy to read as possible? It makes no sense in this case to make them hard to read.
Anyway, I've had some fun and I believe this game have lots of potential. Great work and good luck!
Challenging and intriguing! Most clever game I've seen so far this jam.
I GET IT!!! The entire game is resting on a single screen...! Clever..!
Though I am a little rusty on my if P then Q's, I still managed to get a few people treated before sending the world into recession and back to caveman times...
Great work!
Very well done! Nice humor and weird logic puzzles!
I can't say that I complete got how to do them but - hey at least I can program a little :P
Lovely game, fun to play - think you should make this into a full game :p
Now I have an excuse to get a nurse assistant :)
Nice game, good take on the theme. Liked the first letter :)
Sound is a bit strange, but add to the mood.
