Has some potential. Cool music. Not very on-theme.
Couldnt run on OSX 10.7 Lion with 'java -jar FarFromEarth.jar'
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/ramikaze/farfromearth/FarFromEarth : Unsupported major.minor version 51.0
For "major.minor version 51.0" error you must to install Java 1.7.
Got to around wave 100 and it lagged so much from all the bullets it became unplayable.
Got up to wave 100 and thousands of objects on screen. I know I could have wiped the screen but that seemed like a waste of good archers, I had the robots and stuff but the archers were still running around. Pretty fun game, good job!
A bit easy, but a very fun game. I got a null pointer exception at entity.Warrior.update<Warrior.java:60> though. Also lagged a bit.
I thought this was pretty great. About halfway through round 1 I finally understood the controls, and after that it wasn't too hard. When I realized I can just spam warriors and get a ton of gold I started to fight 3 - 4 waves at a time. Right now I am waiting for waves 89 - 108 to die from my military so the game quits lagging so much. Besides the easiness, this game is a lot of fun. I would buy it if it was a complete game!
Very nice, but in the end (wave 100+) it starts being slow (too many turrets ?). We can have a lot of gold very quickly, but converting it into iron is a bit boring.
This game is fun to play, anyway. :)
FIY : Chrome + Mac = no Java 7 :(
(Chrome is a 32 bits only browser), for anyone that uses Chrome instead of Safari or Firefox, you've got to install Java 7 and never use Java in Chrome again.
Fun little tower defense kind of thing. First time I played I ended up making like 300 archers, which seemed super effective but slowed the game to a crawl. After that I tried making military units and snipers which seemed a lot less effective. Balance might not be great.
Very nice music and fun once I realised what to do! But only made it to wave 107. :)
A very fun game, with nice music, that was cool :)
Can you rename windows in JAR? I think it would be better.
I like the concept
Quite neat, once you figure out the controls. Around wave 75 I had enough guys and monsters and bullets everywhere that lag started becoming an issue though. Monsters also stopped being a real threat... By wave 100 I had to stop because it ran so slow.
Would also be nicer if the archer's shots were more visible.

Could you build this with Java 6? My OS doesn't offer Java 7, or vice-versa.
Yes I can but the JRE must be JRE7, is it ok ?
