Wine says "Failed to load plugin 4.csx" and then the program crashes :(

Neat concept, nice to discover the score box at the end. The controls could have been thought out more and I'm not sure where the 'escape' comes in.

@ JohanAR Sorry no clue. I'm not much of a programmer, and didn't write any actual code for the entry, it was all made within Construct.

@ jplur I agree that the controls have some issues, I've been thinking of alternatives, and a few other additions I want to make. The best new controls I can think of are to change it to a toggle, to you would be able to toggle forward, back, and clear it.

The "escape" theme is more conceptual, and I don't expect it to click for everyone. Basically I took the though of playing a Abstract Painting, and the fact that Abstract paintings are designed in a way that continually draw you back in, and meshed the two together. There are many different times and experiences when I have seen people stair at an abstract piece, attempting to come to a conclusion, when the piece more than likely has no logical conclusion, abstract art just is. So maybe they were playing some kind of game instead?

Cute little game. Would be nice to visibly show what colors 1, 2, 3 and 4 map to, but otherwise I feel it does what it set out to do.

While the idea was nice, this could have had so many things done to polish it a little. It does stand out from the others for mostly good reasons.

I really liked this, though it does feel like the scoring should be communicated better in the game. The first time I played it I was wondering where the challenge was, and it wasn't till I came back and read your description that I realised there was a bit more to it than simply picking up the dots and making your way to the bottom.

Scored 3936. I like that it's different and thinks outside the box of 2D platformers.

Put some icons on the screen showing the keys and colors, it would help. It would also help to have something else to do just slowly faze down and pick some score points - there are several games with the exact same idea of color phasing (but you're still going to have points for innovation) and they're usually better executed.

It's innovative but it just wasn't engaging me. When I saw how the scoring worked I didn't feel like paying that much attention, especially since I'd have to memorize the color costs or keep checking this page.

It's a cool idea but at least needs a better interface to be fun.

Cool; I could see this being a fun way to explore real world pieces of art, for kids or whatever. Without any constraint on color switching, it doesn't feel so much like a game, more like a toy.

Notes as I play:
- wish the color switching was a toggle (1 button to cycle through)
- wish I could use arrows instead of A/D to move

Nice idea. Not sure the thinking behind using WASD and the number keys - got a little bit cramped up there! But it's a nice simple concept executed quite well.
